WWF Smackdown! starts off with footage from this past Monday night when The Rock went against The Big Bossman and Bull Buchanan in a handicap cage match. The Rock won the match after he gave Bull the Rock Bottom and then pinned him for a three count, but that wasn't the end of the war. Triple H, Shane and Vince all got in the ring and they all beat up on The Rock and he was left a bloody mess as RAW is WAR went off the air. You have to wonder what The Rock is going to do tonight on WWF Smackdown!.
World Wrestling Federation European Championship Match:
Rikishi Phatu vs. Eddy Guerrero (c)
Michael Cole is along side Jerry "The King" Lawler and they are doing commentary for Smackdown!. The music of Too Cool is playing in the arena and Rikishi Phatu is on his way to the ring set for a one on one match. Rikishi is going against Eddy Guerrero for the WWF European Championship belt, and Chyna is in the corner of Eddy for this contest. As Eddy makes his way to the ring, he says he is a true European Champion from Europe, and it would be a disgrace to the belt if it were to fall in the hands of an Islander from Samoa. Eddy asks where the hell Samoa is anyway. Eddy says that no one knows, and he tells Chyna not to worry, because Rikishi may have the biggest ass in the world, but he has the biggest supply of Latino Heat in the world.
Eddy and Chyna get in the ring, and the fans chant "Eddy sucks, Eddy sucks!". Eddy covers the ears of Chyna and then he gives Rikishi a number of right hands to start off the contest. Rikishi fires back with a right hand of his own, and then he whips Eddy off the ropes. Rikishi picks Eddy up and just drops him down. Rikishi Phatu then gives Eddy a powerslam and Eddy kicks out before the count of three. The referee gets knocked down and Rikishi whips Eddy to the corner and then knocks him down to do the banzai drop, but Chyna nails Rikishi in the face with a glass vase. Eddy covers Rikishi Phatu for a two count, and somehow, Rikishi kicked out before the count of three.
Eddy continues to stomp on Rikishi, and he can't believe that Rikishi kicked out. Rikishi gets to his feet and Eddy knocks Rikishi to the outside of the ring and Chyna nails Rikishi with a clothesline. Chyna then puts Rikishi back in the ring and Eddy gets on the apron and springs himself onto Rikishi. Rikishi kicks out of a pin and Eddy was tossed through the second rope to the outside of the ring. The fans are well behind Rikishi as Eddy gives Rikishi a drop kick to the knee. Rikishi battles back with some right hands and then he gives Eddy a high back body drop. Rikishi gives Eddy Guerrero a Samoan drop and then he whips Eddy to the corner and splashes him in the corner.
Rikishi calls for the Stink Face, and Chyna gets in the ring and Rikishi turns around and squashes her in the corner as Eddy gives Rikishi a drop kick. Rikishi kicks Eddy in the face to take him down and then he puts the Stink Face on Chyna. Rikishi scoops Eddy up to give him the Rikishi driver, but Chyna gives him a low blow. The referee calls for the bell and gives Rikishi the win by disqualification.

Triple H, Stephanie and Shane are shown backstage and Triple H asks Shane and Stephanie if that was great on Monday night. Triple H says that was the most fun they had in a long time. Shane says that they can have a lot fun tonight. Triple H says that if anyone gets in the way, they can do the same to them. Shane says Vince isn't here tonight, and Stephanie says to make him proud. A limo is shown backstage arriving to the arena, and it's The Rock. Triple H, Stephanie and Shane all get up and Triple H says that the games are going to begin.
Triple H's music is playing in the arena, and he is on his way to the ring along with Stephanie and Shane. Shane gets on the mic and the fans start chanting "Asshole, asshole!" to get under the skin of the McMahon/Helmsley faction. Shane says that it's time to go back to Monday night on RAW, and he says it was fantastic. Shane says Triple H said he was going to turn it up a notch, and oh boy did he ever do that. Shane says he had no idea what Triple H was talking about but, wham, wham, wham! The people's champion was laying at their feet.
Shane says he has to tell Triple H, it was a proud moment for him to be there up so close and actually feel the bang of The Rock going down. Shane says he is proud that Triple H is the World Wrestling Federation Champion. The fans boo that, and Shane says The Rock tried to play the game, but it was obviously game over for him. Shane says one last thing to Triple H, and that's not only is he proud that Triple H is the Champion, but he is proud that he is his brother in law. Shane and Triple H hug and the fans boo that as well. Stephanie says that Shane and Triple H get her so choked up, and she says that they are going to make her cry.
Stephanie says she is emotional, just like her father. Stephanie says she knows her dad is at home watching this right now, and she knows that her father wanted to keep this as a surprise, but she can't help it. Stephanie says when Triple H faces The Rock for the WWF belt, her father will be in Triple H's corner! The fans chant "Slut, slut, slut" directed at Stephanie. Triple H says that Vince is going to personally be in his corner? Triple H says he is flattered and honored that he would do that. Triple H says he knows how Vince is, and with all due respect, he's just a bit of a glory hound. Triple H says he doesn't want Vince to go out there thinking he's going to steal his thunder. Triple H says he wants to do this himself, and Vince can have a front row seat as he destroys The Rock's dreams once and for all.
Triple H says that he gave The Rock a lesson on Monday night as to what it takes to be a real Champion. Triple H says to be the best, and not just talk about it. Triple H says it takes a lot of sweat, tears, and a lot of The Rock's blood. Triple H says The Rock keeps coming back, and he will keep teaching The Rock that same lesson. Triple H says if it takes him a million times, he will teach The Rock that lesson over and over. Triple H says it does not matter how much sweat comes from his body, how many tears he cries, it doesn't matter how much of the people's blood pumps from his body. It will be all for nothing, because The Rock will never be the World Wrestling Federation Champion. Triple H says The Rock will never beat him.
The music of The Rock comes on and he is on his way to the arena! The Rock's forehead is bandaged, and Triple H tells The Rock to hold on. Triple H says he knows The Rock is out here in front of his whole state and he knows The Rock is out here to talk about his chance to become the WWF Champion. Triple H says that he thought real long and hard about this as to when and where he should get his shot. Triple H says that maybe right here in Florida would be a hell of a place, but then he thought that would be a pretty big match and they should do it somewhere important. So why not make it at WWF Backlash? The Rock gets on the mic and says that on Monday night, Triple H did it all to The Rock.
Yes, he beat The Rock's ass and left him laying in a pool of his own blood. The Rock says just as sure as he stands surrounded by a silver spoon jackass and by a bargain basement slut, is as sure as Monday night, The Rock still walked out with his shot at Triple H's WWF title. The Rock says they stand in the ring and gloat about how they have Vince in their corner. The Rock says to bring on Vince McMahon, the congress, dig up George Washington's candy ass and bring him too! The Rock says that there's nobody that is going to stop The Rock from whipping Triple H's candy ass. Triple H says for a guy who has unloaded half his blood on Monday night, he seems full of himself.
Triple H says that The Rock can't be at 70% maybe 60% at his best. Triple H says it doesn't really matter what percent he is at, and he doesn't care if he is 100 percent, because tonight in this ring, it's going to be he and The Rock! Triple H says that it's not for the World Wrestling Federation Champion, it's not for his WWF belt. Triple H says what he wants The Rock to do is go in the back and round up his new found little buddies the Acolytes and bring them to the ring with him. Triple H says he is going to bring Bull and the Bossman to the ring and they are going to get this deal done. The Rock says that come Backlash, he guarantees and promises the people that he will win the World Wrestling Federation Championship belt!
Al Snow and Steve Blackman are shown at a Nursing Home, and Steve isn't liking where they are at. Al says that the old people are going to like him. A guy introduces Steve Blackman as a comedian and Al gives Steve a piece of paper of what to say. Steve didn't look too happy as the old people in the Nursing Home clap for Steve Blackman.
The Hardy Boyz vs. Benoit and Malenko
The Hardy Boyz are on their way to the ring, and they are set for tag team action against the Radicals. Dean Malenko starts it off in the ring against Matt Hardy and Matt whips Dean off the ropes and he gives him a hip toss when he comes back. Matt then gives Dean a drop toe hold and then backs Dean into the corner and hits him with some right hands. Dean gains control and he tags in Benoit and the two double team Matt Hardy. Dean drop kicks Matt into a back suplex by Chris Benoit. Benoit holds on and gives Matt two back suplexes and then he goes for a third but Matt is able to get out of it. Chris Benoit knocks Matt to the outside of the ring where Dean works on him and Jeff gets in the ring for a second, but he's cut off by the referee.
Dean throws Matt back into the ring and Chris whips Matt into the corner and Matt gets out and tags in Jeff. The Hardy Boyz give Benoit a double elbow drop and they use their speed against Chris Benoit. Jeff works on both Dean and Chris Benoit and then Benoit regains control and he goes to powerbomb Jeff, but Jeff is able to fight out of it. Dean goes off the top rope and Chris power bombs Jeff as Dean drops down on him with a reverse bulldog. Dean gives Jeff a back drop and then he tags Chris Benoit back in the ring. Chris Benoit gives Jeff Hardy a snap suplex and then gives him a leg drop. Chris picks Jeff up and gives him a back breaker and he covers him for a two count.
Chris Benoit tags in Dean Malenko and Dean whips Jeff to the corner and nails him with a clothesline. Dean kicks Jeff in the gut a number of times and then he gives him an elbow to the head. Dean tags Benoit back into the ring and they give Jeff a double head butt. Chris picks up Jeff Hardy and gives him a short clothesline. Chris tags in Dean again and the two double team Jeff Hardy with a drop toe hold and a baseball slide to the face. Dean tags Chris Benoit back in, and the Radicals make quick tags to keep control of Jeff Hardy. Chris whips Jeff to the corner and then he perches him on the top rope and Benoit goes to back drop him, but Jeff countered it in mid air.
Jeff Hardy gets over to Matt for the tag and Benoit tags Dean at the same time. Matt knocks Dean down with a right hand, and then he gives him a back body drop. Matt gives Chris one as well. Dean nails Matt with a heel kick and then he pins him for a two count. All four men get in the ring and all hell breaks loose as the Hardy Boyz get the better of the Radicals. Benoit tosses Jeff Hardy to the outside of the ring and then Dean scoops up Matt with a powerslam and Jeff gets on the top rope and gives him the swan-ton bomb and Matt pins Dean to get the win!

Kurt Angle is shown with Shane and Triple H. Triple H says that he was wrong about Kurt in the past, and he got screwed at Wrestlemania. Triple H asks Kurt what he would think about wearing WWF gold around his waist. Kurt says he would love it, and Shane offers a shot at the tag team belts for tonight. They tell Kurt Angle that they have a partner lined up for him, and it's The Big Show. Shane asks Triple H if he's seen the Show tonight, and Triple H says no, but he's heard. Shane laughs and the two walk away.
World Wrestling Federation Hardcore Championship Match:
Perry Saturn vs. Crash Holly (c)
Crash Holly is on his way to the ring, and he's set for a one on one match against Perry Saturn, and the WWF Hardcore Championship is on the line! Perry Saturn brings out a trash can full of goods to beat up on Crash with, and he's the only Radical in the WWF not to hold a title, but that could change right here tonight. Crash gets out of the ring and gets some weapons from Perry's garbage can and Perry grabs hold of Crash and bounces him off the apron of the ring. Crash whips Saturn into the steel steps and then he puts Saturn back in the ring and goes to work. Crash pins Perry Saturn for a two count and the referee is Jack Doan. If you remember what we saw on Sunday Night Heat with him, Crash better be careful.
Crash goes for a hurricanrana on Saturn, but Saturn gives Crash a power bomb. Saturn picks up a trash lid and he goes to hit Crash with it, but Crash is able to dodge it. Crash gives Saturn a sunset flip and Saturn nails Crash in the head with the lid. Saturn gives Crash a flap jack and then he stomps Crash in the middle of the ring. Saturn picks up a crutch and he nails Crash in the back with it. Saturn gives Crash a leg drop and then pins him for a two count. Saturn scoops Crash up and rams him into the turnbuckle. Saturn picks up a cookie sheet and he goes to hit Crash with it, but Crash moves out of the way.
Crash gets on the second rope and gives Saturn a tornado DDT. Crash picks up the cookie sheet and Saturn kicks it right into the face of Crash and then he pins him for a three count to become the new WWF Hardcore Champion.
Winner and new WWF Hardcore Champion, Perry Saturn
Tazz storms to the ring and he knocks Saturn down and then pins him to get the WWF Hardcore belt!
Crash then takes Tazz down and pins him to get the WWF Hardcore Championship back. Perry Saturn and Tazz battle in the middle of the ring and WWF officials do their best to break up the brawl.

World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship Match:
The Big Show and Kurt Angle vs. Edge and Christian (c)
Steve Blackman is shown and he's doing his best to entertain the old folks in the Nursing home. The people don't seem to like him. Kurt Angle is now on his way to the ring and he's teaming up with The Big Show against Edge and Christian for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championship belts. Kurt says that his quest to regain Championship gold has come to an end, because he's got a partner who is guaranteed to bring home the tag team titles. The most dominant force in sport's entertainment today, The Big Show. The Big Show comes out dressed up in a kilt and he comes out to the music of Roddy Piper. Shane and Triple H are shown backstage laughing as The Big Show makes his way to the ring.
Kurt asks The Big Show what he is doing, and The Big Show talks in a Scottish voice and he asks Kurt if he can see that he's trying to have a little bit of fun. Kurt says he is here to win Championship gold. Michael Cole says The Big Show is trying to be the Fat Bastard from Austin Powers. The Big Show says everyone is wondering what is under his kilt, and he says he is going to show everyone, because he is dead sexy! The Big Show starts to lift his kilt, and then Kurt says not to, because there are children here. The Big Show says to bring out the sissy boys, so they can get this thing going. Edge and Christian come to the ring and the match is on.
Edge starts it off against The Big Show, and The Big Show grabs hold of Edge and heaves him across the ring. Christian gets in the ring and the two double team The Big Show. The Big Show catches Christian in mid air and then throws him down to the mat. The Big Show goes to choke slam Edge, but Christian is there to stop him. The Big Show whips both Edge and Christian to the corner and then he gets tagged out as Kurt tags himself in. Kurt charges at Edge and Christian and Edge and Christian flap jack him into the turnbuckle.
Christian and Edge continue to double team Kurt Angle, and Edge pins Kurt Angle for a two count. Edge tags out to Christian and Christian whips Kurt off the ropes, but Kurt comes back with a clothesline. Kurt goes to tag out to The Big Show, but Christian tags Edge and Edge grabs Kurt Angle from behind with a back drop into a pin for a two count. Kurt Angle gives Edge a belly to belly suplex as The Big Show acts like a goof on the apron. Kurt asks him what he is doing and then he slaps The Big Show across the face! The Big Show gets in the ring and he snaps on Kurt Angle. The Big Show and Kurt Angle fight to the outside of the ring and the referee counts them out.

Buh Buh Ray Dudley vs. Albert
Stephanie and Tori are shown backstage, and Chris Jericho shows up and mistakes them as the Godfather's hoes, and he asks them if they have seen the Godfather. Chris apologizes and leaves, and Stephanie and Tori didn't seem to like Chris Jericho's comment. T&A are both on their way to the ring, and Albert is set for a one on one match against Buh Buh Ray Dudley. Buh Buh storms to the ring and he and Albert go right to work against each other. Albert and Buh Buh exchange right hands in the corner and Albert chokes away on Buh Buh. Albert whips Buh Buh to the corner and then Buh Buh boots Albert right in the face. Buh Buh Ray gives Albert a shoulder bock and Trish gets ready to get on the apron.
She gets on the apron and Buh Buh swings at her and Albert nails Buh Buh from behind. Albert pins Buh Buh for a two count as Trish gets down from the ring apron. Albert gives Buh Buh a huge side walk slam and then he pins him for a two count. Albert slams Buh Buh in the middle of the ring and then he goes to the second rope as Test looks on. Albert goes off the second rope with a leg drop, but Buh Buh rolls out of the way. Buh Buh clotheslines Albert and then he gives him a DDT in the middle of the ring. Buh Buh rolls into the cover and Albert is able to get his shoulder up at a two count. Albert goes for a back body drop but Buh Buh kicks him. Albert scoops Buh Buh up and gives him a huge power bomb.
Buh Buh gives Albert a modified version of the Dudley Death Drop to get the win. Test attacks D-Von on the outside of the ring and then he calls for Trish to get a table out from under the ring. Test puts the table in the ring and it looks like they are going to put the Dudley Boyz through a table! Test goes to power bomb Buh Buh, but D-Von gets in the ring and nails Test with a steel chair. They set up Albert on the table and Buh Buh goes off the top rope with a splash on Albert on the table!
Winner - Buh Buh Ray Dudley
Chris Jericho is shown backstage, and Stephanie and Tori show up and Chris apologizes to them, and he says they are almost as attractive as the Godfather's hoes. Stephanie wishes Chris good luck in his match against X-Pac, and then she tells him that he doesn't only have to face X-Pac, but he has to go against The Road Dogg as well in a handicap match.
The Fabulous Moolah and Terri vs. The Kat and Mae Young
Steve Blackman is shown again and he's still trying to entertain the people, and some old lady says that Blackman sucks. The lady calls Steve a name and he brings out his num chucks and she tells him to bring it on. Terri and the Fabulous Moolah are both on their way to the ring, and they are set for tag team action against The Kat and Mae Young. The Kat starts off in the ring against Terri and the two fight on the mat in the style of a cat fight. The Kat backs Terri in the corner and Mae Young chokes Terri in the corner. Terri makes a tag to the Fabulous Moolah and she comes into the ring and the Kat slaps her across the face.
The Fabulous Moolah snap mares The Kat and then whips her across the ring. Moolah kicks The Kat in the face and then she tags in Terri. Terri pins The Kat, but The Kat reverses it into a pin of her own for a two count. Terri and The Kat battle and the Kat throws Terri to the outside of the ring. The Kat chases Terri on the outside of the ring and Terri throws water into the Kat's face. Terri throws The Kat back into the ring and The Kat tags in Mae Young. Terri tags in Moolah.
Moolah battles with Mae Young and Moolah gives Mae a sorry looking monkey flip. Mae counters and then she backs Moolah into the corner and Terri gets in the ring and attacks Mae from behind. Mae whips Terri into the corner. Both The Kat and Mae do crotch chops and Mae gives the Moolah the bronco buster as the Kat gives Terri one as well. Mae heaves Moolah by the hair and then the Kat gives Moolah a spear. Mae goes off the ropes with an elbow drop and she pins the Fabulous Moolah for a three count to get the win for her team.

Handicap Match: The Road Dogg and X-Pac vs. Chris Jericho
Chris Jericho is on his way to the ring and he's going against The Road Dogg and X-Pac in a handicap match up. Chris welcomes everyone to Tampa is Jericho, and then he goes on to say that it seems that he highly insulted Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley when he mistook her for one of the Godfather's ladies. Chris says he was going to come out here and apologize, but since he's being screwed in this match, but he feels that he should get the better of this and he says that The Rock and the fans were right when they call her a slut. Chris says that Stephanie is a trash bag hoe and he vents and says he feels better.
The Road Dogg and X-Pac come to the ring with Tori and the match starts off with The Road Dogg against X-Pac. X-Pac gets in the ring and tries to attack Jericho, but Jericho chops X-Pac right down. The Road Dogg and X-Pac get the better of Chris Jericho and then they stomp away on Jericho in the middle of the ring. Chris Jericho gives The Road Dogg a heel kick and then he goes to give X-Pac a power bomb but The Road Dogg stops Jericho with a clothesline. X-Pac goes for the bronco buster, but Jericho gets out of the way. The Road Dogg nails Jericho with some left hands and then he goes for the last one, but he misses. Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho on The Road Dogg, but he is unable to get it on as X-Pac is there to stop him.
Chris Jericho gives X-Pac a power bomb followed by the asai moonsault for a two count. Chris Jericho gives The Road Dogg a running bulldog and he throws X-Pac to the outside of the ring. Tori gets in the ring and tries to slap Jericho, but Jericho takes her down and puts the Walls of Jericho on her. The Road Dogg nails Chris from behind and then X-Pac gets the X-Factor on him and The Road Dogg pins him to get the win. Stephanie is shown backstage with some girl, and they both seem to like what they just saw.
Winners - The Road Dogg and X-Pac
Shane and Triple H are shown backstage with Earl Hebner and Shane is very angry at Earl. Shane says he should fire Earl on the spot. Triple H tells Shane not to go that far and Triple H suggests probation. Triple H tells Earl that this is his last chance, and if he screws up one more time, he is fired. Shane tells him to get out of here and he leaves. Steve Blackman and Al Snow are shown and Al is yelling at Steve for hitting old people. Steve says she annoyed him, and sirens are going off as they get in the car and leave.
Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley is on her way to the ring along with a blonde girl and the two get in the ring. Stephanie gets on the mic and says she understands how hard it is for everyone to look at the WWF Superstars and their hard bodies. Stephanie says she wants everyone to know that it's a lot tougher for them to look out at all of them. Stephanie says that the fans are nothing but fat, lazy people. Stephanie says as the WWF Women's Champion, she not only represents all the women out there, but she represents all of the men and their fat kids, too.
The girl with her is agreeing with Stephanie. Stephanie says she is going to do a public service, and she introduces everyone to her personal trainer, and now everyones, Muffy! Muffy does her best to get the fans to stand up. The Rock is shown backstage with the Acolytes, and the Acolytes tell The Rock that he is going to have to trust them.
Six Man Tag Team Match: The Rock and the Acolytes vs. Triple H, Bossman and Bull
The music of Triple H is playing, and he is on his way to the ring along with his wife, Stephanie and her brother, Shane. The Rock comes out to a huge pop and he is wearing band aids on his head. The Rock starts it off in the ring against the Big Bossman and the fans are well behind The Rock. The Bossman charges at The Rock, and The Rock ducks a blow and he gives him a number of right hands and knocks him to the outside of the ring. Bull gets in the ring and The Rock clears the ring of him. The Rock wants Triple H to get in the ring, but he is reluctant to do so. The Big Bossman attacks The Rock from behind and then he tags in Triple H.
The Rock and Triple H battle back and forth with right hands and Triple H gives The Rock a high knee lift to take him down. Triple H tags in Bull Buchanan and Bull whips The Rock off the ropes, but The Rock fires back with some right hands. The Rock plants Bull with a DDT and both men are slow to get back to their feet. The Rock tags in Faarooq and Faarooq goes right to work on anyone in his way. Bradshaw gets in the ring and the Acolytes give Bull a double spine buster. Bradshaw goes to the top rope and he gives Bull a huge shoulder block and then pins him for a two count. Bull whips Bradshaw off the ropes, and Bull gives Bradshaw a big boot.
Bull continues to hammer away on Bradshaw and Bradshaw fights back with two swinging neck breakers. Bradshaw tags Faarooq into the ring and the Big Bossman and Bull double team Faarooq. Bull pins Faarooq for a two count and then Bull gives him a scoop slam followed by an elbow drop. Bull tags the Big Bossman back into the ring and the Bossman tosses Faarooq to the outside of the ring. Bull drops down from the apron and beats up on Faarooq as Triple H helps out as well. Bull tosses Faarooq back into the ring and the Bossman goes to work on him. The Big Bossman tags in Triple H and Triple H gets in the ring and gives Faarooq a kick right to the gut.
Shane gets on the apron and the referee knocks him off the apron. Triple H gets in an argument with the referee and Faarooq is able to battle back. Triple H goes for the Pedigree, but The Rock is able to stop it with a clothesline. Faarooq makes the tag to Triple H and The Rock goes right to work on Triple H! The Rock nails Triple H with a clothesline and then he goes for The Rock Bottom but all six men get in the ring and all hell breaks loose. The Acolytes are in the ring and Triple H has no where to escape to. The Road Dogg and X-Pac come to the ring and the Acolytes beat up on them and get them out of the ring as The Rock and Triple H go at it in the corner.
The Rock kicks away at Triple H as Triple H fires back with some right hands. The Rock gives Triple H spine buster and Shane attacks The Rock from behind. The Rock goes after Shane McMahon and he tries to go into the crowd, but The Rock grabs him. The Rock nails Shane across the head with a T.V. monitor and then he gets up on the announcers table. The Rock gives Shane McMahon the Rock Bottom on the announcers table and then he gets back in the ring and his music comes on.
