If you like
fishing for Catfish and live in or around the Chicagoland area, why not
consider joining our club? You can meet new people, make some good
friends, and possibly even learn a thing or two! Not to mention have
a little fun...
At this time,
membership requirements are as follows :
Must be a minimum of
18 years of age.
Must complete, sign,
and submit a Membership Application.
Must agree with and
adhere to the clubs Purpose, Constitution, and other club rules and regulations.
Members are required
to pay annual dues - New members $20, Returning members $15. (This
money stays in and benefits the club!)
Officers
Below is a
list of our clubs' Officer positions, and a description of their duties.
At this time there are still a couple of positions open! If you are
interested in filling one of the vacant positions let us know! But
you better hurry,
because once the positions are filled, they are filled. The only way to
become an officer in the future is to be voted in by our members during
our regular club elections held every year.
President- R. Pinkston
- Shall preside over all meetings, direct all official business, and supervise
all club functions. Shall create an agenda (with assistance from
the Secretary/Treasurer), and preserve order throughout all club meetings.
Shall perform all other duties outlined in the Constitution (our clubs
rules, by-laws, and guidelines).
Vice-President/Public
Relations - J. Martin- Shall assume all duties of the President
in the event of his/her death or resignation until the position is filled
in accordance with the by-laws. Shall act as an aide to the President
and will represent the President upon request. Shall be the spokesperson
and primary contact for all public relations outside the club.
Secretary/Treasurer
- J. Shaw
- Shall be responsible for keeping accurate records of the proceedings
of the club, shall distribute a monthly newsletter that will contain minutes
of the last meeting, club standings, tournament results, statements of
unfinished business to be brought up at the next meeting, and any other
news that is of benefit to club members. Shall have on hand at each
meeting (for reference) a copy of the Constitution, minutes from the previous
meeting, and a list of current club standings. Will have certain monetary
responsibilites, and shall complete an itemized Financial Report (signed
by the President) to be presented to the membership at the last meeting
of the calendar year.
Tournament
Director - Needed -
Shall be responsible for all tournament details and will enforce all tournament
rules. Shall keep a detailed log book of all tournaments. Shall
prepare a Site Information Sheet for each tournament which details directions
to the tournament location, water characteristics, and any other information
about the site which may be useful to club members.
