If the engine was naturally aspirated and there is no OEM turbo charged intake manifold available, one may be manufactured. Exhaust pipe must extend a minimum of 18 inches above the sheet metal with no curves or rain caps. Must have two 3/8" grade 5 bolts installed 90 degrees from each other less than one inch apart in the exhaust.

The intercooler must use either one common radiator with the engine water, or a second tank for the intercooler. A second cooling radiator for the intercooler water is not allowed. If a tank for intercooler water is used the water must be at ambient air temperature or up to 10 deg below ambient. Intercooler water contents must not exceed 5 gallons and time of drain with the intercooler pump shut off. Water is not to be drained from the intercooler tank between hooks at a two hook one night session.
INJECTION PUMP=Simms A-pump is considered equal to Bosch A-pump. Any tractor that originally came with a Roosa Master Pump is allowed to run a Bosch Model 100 pump if they so desire. Any tractor with a rotary pump can run an Bosch A pump. John Deere 6030 is allowed to use a P-series injection pump. Injection pump must match rear end.(ie=6030 rear end uses a P-Pump, 5020 rear end uses rotary pump{see above}). NO P-series injection pumps allowed in the 8000 pound class.
TURBO CHARGER= Only one turbo charger is allowed per pulling vehicle. No limit on size. The use of Variable Geometry Turbo Chargers is not allowed.
R.P.M.= Factory RPM is allowed in all classes. R.P.M. CHART If the rpm's are checked after unhooking from the sled and is over 50 rpm higher than allowed, the puller will be disqualified and lose the points from that class for that pull. Show points will still be awarded.
FUEL= Diesel fuel only, NO water injection, NO nitrous injection, NO alcohol, NO turbo charged propane, NO pressurized fuel tanks.
RIMS= Steel rims are only allowed on the rears, front aluminum rims are allowed on the steer axle. Hub caps and wheel covers are allowed.
TIRES= MAX. tire size 20.8-38's or 18.4-42's for all three classes. Tractors may run cut tires, bias or radial tires are allowed.
BLOCKS= All blocks must be stock for make and model of tractor or a direct bolt in replacement from the same manufacturer, that requires no modifications to engine or bell housing. No deck plates allowed.
SHEET METAL= All sheet metal must be stock appearing and in stock location. Fiberglass nose is allowed. Frame rails must match engine Frame rails on a White/Oliver chassis may be used in place of the heavy factory belly pan.(Sheet metal can be upgraded for cosmetic purposes only. Contact IHFSPA for details.)
DRAWBAR= 20" drawbar height. Drawbar length can be no shorter than 18" from center of axle to the point of hook. Drawbar must have a 3-inch hole with a minimum of 1 square inch of steel at the rear of the hole. Drawbar shall be constructed so that in the event of breakage the drawbar supports do not pull from a top link above the centerline of the rear axle of the tractor.
FRONT AXLE= No narrow fronts allowed, wide front ends only. The front tires must run in the same path as the rear wheels travel in. Homemade front axles are allowed. The tractors front axle must be + or - 1 foot of factory placement.
WEIGHT BRACKETS= Front weight bracket must be no more that 2 feet in front of nose cone of tractor. The rear weights must not exceed the back of the rear tires.
WEIGH-IN PROCEDURES = All tractors must weigh in at 9250 lbs. If your tractor is not light enough to compete in the 9250 you will weigh in at 11,000 lbs. You may count down to 7500 and count up to 11,000.
First puller in each class will have the right to either keep the pull or drop to the 1st, or 6th, position. If puller has a mechanical failure, he or she may drop to last if approved by a director, then they must keep that pull no matter the distance.
Contestants must have a valid driver’s license to enter any contest. If the puller is under the age of 18, he/she must have a written consent of a parent or legal guardian. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Air intake shutoff must be spring loaded to assist in the closure of shutoff.
Tractor must be equipped with “dead mans” throttle.
Tractor must have a neutral or clutch safety switch.
