Dorie, Bill, Vlasta, Darlene, Dave and Ray (the photographer) stopped off at Le Piment for a sweet nightcap after a great dinner at Brasserie des Îles in Grand Case. Btw, Vlasta just had an espresso and Ray (too stuffed) had 'nada'.

It was Susan's XLIX. birthday today. She and Mike had invited some close friends to their rented Villa Marlène for a soup and snacks party to celebrate this momentous occasion with them. Susan greeted all of us in a nun's habit. She did change into someting more comfortable after we had all arrived.

Steve and Maria are looking at Jane and Jason's wedding album. They are Ray and Vlasta's daughter and son-in-law. The young couple got married on a St. Thomas beach a year earlier.

Steve typed the email and Mike attached a pic of us 12 party revelers before emailing to Alan in Nineveh, IN. Btw, Michel, a friend of Susan and Mike, took the pic.

Just 2 cruise ships were in port on this Tuesday. 5 were scheduled to be in port the next day.

Our friends, Al and Bonnie Romeo, stopped in to say goodbye and drop off some leftover goodies (including some beer and booze).

The Air France A340 landed after we left the Sunset Bar & Grill, so we had to settle for a pic of this Island Air jet.

Dec 14: an MD-82 or 83

The Air France A340 was scheduled to land at 2:51 p.m., about 45 minutes after we left for the PJIA terminal to meet Marius of St. Louis Car Rental.

The Insel Air jet was ready to leave SXM after a turnaround of just 75 minutes.

That's Dave and Darlene's American Eagle flight taking off for San Juan, Puerto Rico. Btw, the plane departed from the gate at 2:10 p.m., right on time.

It was 2:20 p.m. and Vlasta had to head to a gate on the other end of the terminal for her AA flight to Miami. Bill and Dorie were flying with Ray on a US Air B757 to Charlotte.
