"Who are you?"

"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinion, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation." -Oscar Wilde

Think about that quote and there is no way of denying it's truth. How many things do you do in your daily lives "just because". Because that's how you've always done them or, more importantly, because that's how mom and dad did it(or whoever was the prime influence in your early development). After all, if mom said it was right, then it must be. Mom would never lead you astray, would she?

Perhaps not knowingly. But she would if she was just following the programming that came from her mom and the mom before her, and so on through the centuries. Have you ever stopped to question why you do the things you do, say the things you say, or think the way you think? A lot of the time the only feasilbe answer you'll come up with if you're being honest with yourself, is that it's what you learned and you never stopped to question if it really made any sense at all to begin with. Next time you find yourself going through the motions of tradition or convention, stop and ask yourself why and if it really makes any sense to you. It's hard to do at first, but try.

Or, maybe try NOT to think. Use that "little voice" inside; your intuition, if you will. Believe it or not, it is NEVER wrong. We are just very good at convincing ourselves that it is if it doesn't tell us what we want to hear or believe. It's gotten real hard to hear through the noise of ipods, television, music, and the constant chatter that runs through our heads these days, but it is still there.

There are a whole lot of cookie cutter people in this world today. They dress alike, act alike, like the same things, say the same things. It's frightening to think that, with all this supposed free will and free thought we were given at birth, that some poor schmuck would choose to be just like someone else. Sadly though, they don't even realize they have the choice.

Here's a little game that will make you think. Pay careful attention to everything you say during the day and note how many times you're directly quoting someone else, rehashing an old saying (and we don't even know the origins of a lot of them anymore. "Nothing to write home about". There's one. Who writes home anymore anyway. "Nothing to text mom about", maybe.). Even more disgusting, slap yourself every time you find yourself acting or talking just like mom or dad(or, if you didn't have them, the aforementioned other person you may have patternered yourself after without realizing it). Even if your love for this person is so great, it's an easy "carbon copy" trap to get into and it hurts your ability to be yourself (whoever that is).

There's a real lack of originality in this society today. Do the world a favor and do something different today.

NOTE:
This used to be one of the thousands (tens of thousands?) of independent pro wrestling web sites that proliferated the internet not so long ago. As the "industry" (or even more loosely "the business") began to become an increasing mockery of it's self I, as well as countless others, have completely lost interest in associating with what it has become. So, anyone who finds this web site (of sorts) through links of searches for pro wrestling content will find themselves with little of interest here.
