I Will Get Back To You

Disclaimer - Me no own Sailor Moon.  But of course you all know that already!	

	~ Chapter 2 ~

	If asked to describe death Serena would be at a loss for words.  She had
experienced it twice, but the first time didn't last long and she had Darien.  The light had
engulfed her and she felt a warmth fill her, like Darien's touch.  At first she though she
was still living, until she opened her eyes and saw nothing around her.  
	"Darien!" she screamed out his name at her first reaction, he was with her when
she died, that's the last thing she could remember.  How did she die?  Her mind was blank
except for Darien.  She fell to her knees and looked more closely around her.  The soft
pastel colors bathed her in heavenly light.  That's when she saw the person making their
way towards her, she squinted her eyes trying to make out the figure.
	"Serena..." the voice was whisper soft but sounded so familiar.  She shut her eyes
and tried to visualize a face with the voice, but she couldn't remember anything.  She let
out a quiet sob, she was alone, in this strange place and all she wanted was to be with
Darien again.
	"Stop your tears child." Serena looked up to find a regal looking woman standing
over her smiling.  Her long silver hair swept the 'ground' and she wore two meatballs
upon her head.  "You don't remember anything do you my dear?"
	"No I don't I only remember Darien, what's wrong with me?" the woman just
smiled, "Nothing dear, this is normal, you never remember anything except your last
thought, he was your last thought.  That's why you still remember child, now stop your
tears.  I'm Queen Serenity, and in one lifetime you were my daughter, princess Serena. 
You were killed in an attack by the negaverse so I sent you to the future along with your
protectors and your love, prince Darien from earth."
	"I loved Darien before this time?" it all sounded so familiar to her but something
wasn't letting her get though.  The Queen nodded slowly, "You aren't supposed to be
here." A worried look marred her beautiful features, "You are Sailor Moon, with out the
future fails to exist, and the earth is doomed."
	"Doomed?  Because I'm dead everyone on earth is doomed?  Wow!" she gasped at
the shock of know that she played such an important role in the future.  "It's far too
complicated to go into here, but your destiny was set.  The timeline is forever altered
with your death, we must have you reborn on earth."
	"But I'm dead, how can I just show up down there, everyone will get freaked out,
you don't see people reincarnated a lot in Tokyo."
	"I must speed up your growth and send you back.  This will be difficult without
the silver crystal but I must try, the future depends on your life Serena." The Queen shut
her eyes tightly and focused all her energy onto the girl in front of her.

	Back on earth...

	Darien's sobs were slowly subsiding; he still cradled Serena tightly in his arms. 
The other scouts gathered around him, crying in each other's arms.
	"She can't be dead, she's Sailor Moon." Mars whispered softly into the cold air
that took their friend's life.  "Oh God, please protect Serena, she was so kind and it
couldn't have been her time to go.  She meant so much to so many different people."
Darien prayed out loud for the soul of his love, the other girls joined in silently.
"Darien look!" the silver crystal started to glow, faintly at first then brighter and brighter. 
The street was filled with a brilliant light radiating from Serena's brooch.  
"What's going on?" Mercury cried out, while shielding her eyes from the blinding light. 
Suddenly without warning the light cut off and Serena's body faded away.
	"Serena!" Darien's cry echoed into the air.

	"It is done." The Queen opened her eyes to a very confused girl.  "I don't feel any
different, do I look different?" 
	"I still have to send you back dear, you will remember nothing from any of your
past lives, not even Darien.  But I have utter confidence that you two will find one
another.  He will never love another, his heart is promised to you for all eternity Serena."
She embraced the girl in a tight hug, "Now don't die this time." Serena laughed softly; "I
wish I could remember you... mother..." Serenity nodded, tears streaming down her face
as she stared at the daughter she loved with all her heart.
	"Are you ready?" Serena nodded slowly, "I'm ready."  Serenity threw her arm into
the air; it blazed with the light of a thousand suns.  Serena felt herself fading away, and
then everything faded to black...

Sorry this is so short but it was really hard to think of a way to get her back to earth.  It's
only like a page and a half long.  But it's better then nothing.  So she's back on earth,
older and wiser and a US citizen.  Don't worry I guarantee you that they find each other,
would I write it any other way?  If you said yes, you don't know me very well do you? 
Well drop me a line, does this really suck?  Should I burn the disk containing it?  Let me
know.  I though the death scene was pretty darn good if you ask me, very touching : ) 
And I'm still writing that comedy I told you about peoples, "Dinner of Doom" I'll let you
ponder that for awhile.  
Thanks to Clare-chan, who encouraged me to write this in the first place, and I hope she
likes this next part as well.
