Jane A Chapin Obedience Instructor

I have had dogs most of my life and have always done some sort of training with them. I got interested in obedience when I was in 4-H. I had a Collie that I trained and showed in the 4-H fairs.

I got my first Sheltie in 1983. His name was Brecon's Pandemonium CD "Panda". He was the first dog that I competed with in AKC obedience trials. Panda received his Companion Dog (CD) title in just 3 shows.

I have since put obedience titles on 2 more Shelties, 1 Akita and 3 Shiba Inus. I have also put Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) titles on all of these dogs.

Just recently I have started doing agility with my dogs. One of my Shiba Inus hold 3 agility titles.

I have been teaching adult obedience classes for about 15 years. I also teach McDonough and Fulton County 4-H'ers.

I enjoy teaching obedience classes and seeing the bond between the owner and dog develop.
