The State of Missouri decide to set new Interstate 372 between Hannibal to Wentzville.
The purpose to bring the familar highways for the tourist people from St. Louis area.
Also the highways is part of Saint of Avenue, from St. Paul, Minnesota to St. Louis, Missouri.
The U.S. Highway 61 are still current on the highway who will share with I-372 from west of Hannibal to Wentzville.
