• Lie #1:Marijuana is very harmful.
  Truth:In 1995 ,after 30yrs of research,the Brittish journal Lancet said that "the smoking of cannabis,even long term,is not harmful to health.

• Lie #2:Marijuana is highly addictive
  Truth:Most ppl in America only smoke marijuana occasionaly. Less than one percent smoke weed daily or near daily and an even smaller minority becomes dependent on it.Marijuana is not physically addictive.

• Lie#3:Marijuana leads to harder drugs.
  Truth:Over 70 million have tried marijuana.Most never use another illegal drug.For a majority of people marijuana is the last drug they take. not the first.If it were a gateway drug and if it were so addictive we would have more than 3 million cocain and heroin users in the US.

• Lie #4:Marijuana impairs memory and cognition.
  Truth:Marijauna produces immediate and temporary changes in thoughts,perception and information processing.The one thing it does do is cause short term memory.

• Lie #5:Under the influence of marijuana people become aggressive,irrational and violent.
  Truth:Every test done has come back as the same:Marijuana doesnot cause crime.Almost all studies on humans and animals show that marijuana decreases aggression.

• Lie #6:Marijuana is more damaging to the lung then tobacco.
  Truth:Moderate smoking of marijuana appears to pose minamal damage to the lungs.

• Lie #7:You can overdose on marijuana.
  Truth:There is no lethal dose of marijuana you can not die from *binge smoking* like you can binge drinking.
