On December 14, 2001 my beautiful red cavalier died. I was, of course, minding my own business driving down the road and she decided that she was going to turn in front of me because someone waved her thru a line of traffic. Of course, she neglected the fact that I was intending to drive in my lane at the time of her decision. So naturally, when she suddenly appeared in front of me, there was no time to stop and I hit her. Fortunately, her crying bullshit didn't work, and the nice police officer still determined the accident was her fault. Dumb bitch. Now I have a new car, and all that I have to remember my poor cavy by is the Chevy emblem off of the front :(
The thing I was most upset about, was the fact that my brand new fockin license plates got bent up. She realized this when I said "Son of a bitch, my brand new fucking license plates are all bent up!". Me, not realizing she was behind me, immediately caused her to sniffle and cry. Oops. Shit happens.
I think the coolest thing about the results of the collision is the bent up hood. It was rather unique and added character to the car :)
A beautiful side veiw of the unique and character adding crinkled hood!
If you look closely, and use your imagination, it kind of looks like the front of the car has a sad look on it's face. The way the headlights are curved in, and the bumper, well, it's just bent up.
That car next to mine thinks it's cool cuz it's hood isn't crinkled.
CRINKLE CLOSEUP!
An even closer closeup of my crinkled hood. Look you can see a dangling foglight :)
My cheap foglights were also destroyed, I wasn't particularly happy about THAT either.
The back of my car wasn't damaged at all :) Well, that's a lie, my sub box flew forward and bent the backseat braces, but that's not really a visible damage, ok maybe it was because the back seat had a big gap between it and the back deck. This picture is just cool!
Look, the front end caved in! What a suprise. I don't have much to say about this picture, but the hood still opened if you can believe that! The latch didn't exactly function anymore, but nothin a bungee strap couldn't have fixed!
