Hello  and welcome to my home page. I'm very glad that you made it this far . . . and I hope that you'll stick around long enough to get to know how I may help you improve your golf game!
 

My Background
I was born in 1958 in Charleston, South Carolina. My parents moved to Delaware when I was two years old where I lived until I graduated from William Penn High School in 1976.During my school age years in Delaware I participated in junior golf in my state as well as the nation and points beyond. I then spent the next 4 years at the University of Alabama.While at University I began my career in golf at the North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on the grounds and greens crew. During my employment  at North River the world renowned Golf Digest Instruction School began offering V.I.P. golf schools at our facility, I was hired off the grounds crew as a range assistant where I was taught the art of  golf instruction  and have been involved in the teaching or playing of golf ever since.

Let me tell you about my family. I have three children and a wonderful wife. My son Ian is a sophomore at Ithaca College and is a starting pitcher on their nationally ranked baseball team.My daughter Becky  is a senior in high school and will be attending college real soon. Our newest addition is my daughter Sophie who is an energetic, intelligent, four year old star. My wife Lee is an award winning artist, who also teaches art at Mchenry County College.

I have worked at a variety of positions throughout my career most recently I was a member of  the South African PGA Tour from 1989-1991 and an Assistant Golf Professional at the Wilmette Park District Golf Course in suburban Chicago from 1992 to the present. My positions in the great game of golf have included grounds and greens, range assistant, caddy, assistant caddy master, caddy master, touring professional, assistant professional, teaching professional and I am presently enrolled in the Golf Professional Training Program with my sights set on becoming a PGA member and a Head Professional.
