2005 Haffer-Cavanaugh Family Reunion

This above photograph is of William and Abbie (Cavanaugh) Haffer. This marriage produced 12 children: William Henry, Laney Compton, Clarence Herbert, Roy Eugene, Mamie Emerson, Minnie White, George, Pauline Garrison, Dolly Hill, Frank, Pearl Chambers, and Nora Harper. Census records show William listed as a HAFER with only 1 F. We believe he added the extra F later on out of shame for his father, Henry Hafer, who left him as a child. William was the only child of Henry Hafer and Pauline Hoffman.
