My name is Rose, and I love to make patterns with my Singer XL1000, and
sew them on clothes, and watch them "come alive"! All my life I have always
enjoyed doing all kinds of crafts. My mother taught me how to crochet, when
I was 13 years old, and also showed me how to hand embroider. I tried
knitting, which I didn't enjoy, and then started doing plastic canvas. The
way I got started in doing this is, I wanted a jacket done with my 3 birds
on it, and when I went to ask if it could be done, the people told me yes,
and then showed me some patterns of these tiny birds. I was thinking more
like 3 BIG birds, on the back of a jacket, and not 3 little birds on the
side front, so I decided to do it on my own. When people found out that I
was making BIG patterns, they asked me if I could do something for them as
well, and they said I should sell my services, to help pay for this
wonderful, but expensive machine, so I thought, why not! I can do for other
people, what I couldn't find anyone to do for me, and that is to make a BIG
pattern of whatever they want on their shirt, or jacket, or hat, or tote.
This is why I am here, and what I love doing! You may think that my products
are expensive, but there is a lot of work that goes into one pattern, and as
you will see, there are no gaps or holes in my patterns, and all of them
here, have been sewn out and checked to make sure they look good. I also try
to make my patterns look real, not animated like a lot I have seen out
there. I will put more on the site, as I get them done. When I have enough,
I will make a CD to sell for designs for the Singer XL1000!
