Angel was a pretty basic repaint of the Savage Land Angel figure. |
Here's Angel from Wolverine #147 with his new (and hopefully permanent) wings. He was made from a Savage Land Angel figure with a lot of gloss to give his wings and hair the light effect. |
Another Angel from Wolverine #147, this one made from a JLA Zauriel figure with a lot of sanding. The hair was hand-sculpted, and once again, I used gloss sealer to give his wings and hair the light effect. |
The classic Beast, most-recently seen in X-Men: The Hidden Years, was a simple repaint of the Classic X-Men Boxed Set Beast. |
Here's Bishop in his space outfit. This was a pretty basic repaint of the Missile Flyers Bishop, just sans the shoulder pads. |
This is Bishop in his look from his current title, Bishop: The Last X-Man. I made him from a Metal Gear Solid Solid Snake figure with a LOT of clay work. The cape is made from Crayola Model Magic. |
Bobby Drake (otherwise known as Iceman) was made from a Savage Land Angel body and an Iceman II head. |
I redid Bobby Drake. The paint job is a bit better this time around. |
Britannic here is a pretty straightforward repaint of the Hercules III figure. |
This figure was actually made for Jen, a friend of mine, as was a Sephiroth figure in exchange for the Chrono Trigger video game (thanks again, Jen). Regardless, I've been wanting to make a Cable figure for awhile. This figure is a Super Shooters Colossus body with a Cable III head. The gun is from the Whistler figure (from the Blade line), and the rest is Sculpey. |
Cannonball was made from a Meanstreak body and a Savage Land Angel head. |
I redid Cannonball. His chest emblem is better this time, and so is the yellow. |
Colossus in his Acolyte costume was made from a Super Shooters Colossus figure with real chrome paint!! |
Cyclops in his classic costume was made from an X-Men Morph figure. The head is a reworked Cyclops head that came with Morph. |
Here's Dazzler made from a Battle Bases Jean Grey figure. |
Deadpool was made from a Deadpool II body and a Spider-Man head. |
The original Forge figure is pretty old by today's standards and he doesn't fit in with the current X-Men figures. So I made this one in his current look from a Spider-Man Punisher figure with a gun from Chameleon. I didn't expect him to turn out as well as he did. |
Guardian was made from a Total Justice Flash figure. He fits in good with the Alpha Flight figures. |
Havok in his pre-Mutant X costume. He was made from a Super Shooters Colossus. |
Husk was made from a light-up Psylocke. |
Joseph, the Magneto-clone (thank you Bob Harras and Mark Powers for ruining a good character), was made from a Generation X Banshee body and a Savage Land Joseph head. I posted a recipe for this figure at Raving Toy Maniac. |
Here's another Joseph, this one using an X-Men Morph body. |
Juggernaut here was made from a WWF Maximum Sweat Ken Shamrock figure. The head was hand-sculpted from Super Sculpey. It was my first attempt at sculpting a somewhat-human head. The bands were, of course, made from Das Pronto |
M here was made from a light-up Psylocke, same as Husk. |
Magneto was made from a Total Justice Superman with an AoA Magneto's helmet. |
The same Magneto as above, just without the helmet. |
Malcolm, one of Bishop's partners in the XSE, was made from the first Toy Biz Bishop figure. The guns on his arms are simply the "quick-draw" guns glued on. And, of course, his headgear and shoulderpads were made from Das Pronto. |
DON'T LAUGH!! EVERYONE needs to start out somewhere!! This X-Factor Mystique was my first custom figure, made from a Generation X White Queen. |
Here's Mystique in her classic look, and she's packin' heat!! Mystique was made from an MGS Meryl Silverburgh figure. The skirt is made from Crayola Model Magic. Her top is sculpted from Das Pronto. All the weapons came from Meryl, save for the gun in Mystique's left hand. That came from a Curse of the Spawn 2 Jessica Priest figure. |
Phoenix was made from a Sharkman Iniki figure. The sash was made from Super Sculpey. |
Randall from the XSE was a simple repaint of the original Bishop figure. |
Rogue in her Jim Lee costume (the BEST costume) was made from a Monster Armor Rogue with a LOT of clay work. |
This is Sabretooth in his current costume made from an AoA Sabretooth. The claws are the ends of toothpicks. You can find my recipe for him at Raving Toy Maniac. |
Sabretooth in his original, Marauder costume was made from an AoA Sabretooth with a LOT of work. |
I was bored, so I decided to put my creative energies to the test and repaint the Batman & Robin Iceblast Mr. Freeze into my own Sentinel design. |
Shadowcat in her semi-current costume. She was a simple repaint of a Water Wars Storm. |
Here's Sinister as he appeared in Uncanny X-Men #350. The body is a Batman Forever Two-Face and the head is a Monster Armor Sinister. I gave him gloves (even though he didn't have them in that issue) because I couldn't match his skin color. |
I hated the ToyFare Synch. This one is made from a Generation X Banshee body and a movie Steel head. |
Warlock in his current look was made from a JLA Martian Manhunter. As for how I got the mark around his eye, that's a secret I'll take to my grave ^_^ |
Wildchild made from an AoA Sabretooth. I got this idea from Ron Watkins. |
Wolfsbane in her current look was made from a New Mutants Wolfsbane figure. |
A Savage Wolverine from Onslaught made from a Savage Land Wolverine with clay for the bandanna. |
Wolverine in his brown and gold costume was a simple repaint of the Water Wars Wolverine figure. |
