Freda Pearl Hogan, 61, of Carlisle died July 14, 1998.
She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, J.E. Hogan; two daughters, Donna Bowland and Mary Bowlan, both of Carlisle; three sons, James Hogan of Alabama, Dan Hogan and Edward Hogan, both of Crlisle; her mother, Marie Rambo of Des Arc; three sisters, Joyce Matlock of Cabot, Virginia Turner of Louisiana, and Betty Bush of Des Arc; three brothers, Bo Rambo of Michigan, Herman Rambo of Lonoke, and Bily Rambo of Des Arc; and 15 grandchildren. Funeral was July 17 at Landmark Baptist Church, Carlisle, with burial in Old Carlisle Cemetery by Boyd Funeral Home of Lonoke.; csh7/22/98 |

Funeral was May 16 at North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Old Carlisle Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Janice Hogan; a son, Richard D. Hogan Jr. of Eglin, Fla.; a daughter, Pamela Yates of Kingston, Ill.; two granddaughters; three brothers, Billy Pate Hogan of Hazen, J.E.Hogan and Cledis Hogan, both of Carlisle; three sisters, Ruby Perkins of Carlisle, Violet Granfield of California, and Christine Ingle of Jacksonville.; csh5/20/98 |
Cledis Hogan
Cledis Hogan, 71, of Carlisle went to his eternal home on October 5, 2008.
He loved and enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a Baptist,
using his faith to touch a multitude of young men’s lives working with the Boy
Scouts for many years. He was owner and operator of Hogan’s T.V. and Satellite
Service in Carlisle. Cledis was an activist who worked diligently for honor and
justice. He was full of fun and well known for his sense of humor. He will
always be here in our hearts.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ed and Zelma Hogan, sister Juanita Van
Houten and brothers Howard, Harry, Richard and J.E. Hogan. Survivors include his
wife of 44 years, Patsy Cloninger Hogan; four sons, Kelly (Abbie) Hogan of
Chattanooga, TN, Chris (Becky) Hogan of Lonoke, John Hogan of Springdale and
Doug Hogan of Carlisle; six grandchildren, C.J., Matthew, Carolyn, Kimberly,
Kathryn and Garrett Hogan; two brothers, Bill (Janelle) Hogan of Hazen and
Virgil Gann of Carlisle; three sisters, Ruby Perkins of Carlisle, Violet
Granfield of California and Christine (Clifford) Ingle of Jacksonville.
Funeral service was Tuesday, Oct. 7 at Landmark Baptist Church, Carlisle, with
interment in Old Carlisle Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
