Alilabonia's Monthly Scoop is a little newsletter that I create each month for CATS Fanfic World. It's sort of like the opposite of the Updates page. Instead of telling you what I already have on this page, here's where I'll tell you about future ideas for this page. If you yourself have any ideas, don't hesitate to email me. I have lots of ideas so read on! >^..^<

The Scoop for the month of Septempber...

Dear All:

Surprise, surprise…didn’t think I’d ever put my webpage back up? Well, I did! Hah hah. For the next month or so you’re going to see all my ideas come together.

Do you like the new title, Alilabonia’s Jellicle Tails? I need your opinion on this…if you have something so say about it, vote in my poll on the main page. Thanks a million!

When I put the Story, Poetry, and Parody sections up again, they’ll pretty much be the same. But I have a little surprise for you…a fourth fanfic section is coming soon to a webpage near you! I’m putting up a True Fics section up on my page. If you have had a really awesome, real CATS experience that you just *have* to share with the world, this is the place to send it!

Also, I’m planning on making an award for people to win…I haven’t really decided on the details yet, but expect to see something along those lines pop up soon.

And for those of you who were wondering…yes, I AM working on my larger fanfics, A Ladycat for Skimbleshanks and My Name is Not Alilabonia. I’m almost done with A Ladycat and the last part, part 4, should be up later this month. Alilabonia, on the other hand, is really going to be big—I’m guessing that it’ll clock in around seven parts. Don’t worry, I won’t put them off much longer! I promise you that!

Can’t you believe that CATS is closing down on Broadway? *cries* Well, there are rumors out there that CATS is just going to be moving off Broadway and into a different theater, and I think they’re starting a new American Tour…I can’t promise that though, guys. Let’s just hope that’s correct. But what I do know is this: The CATS Video is being re-released a second time on September 12th, 2000 in a double-tape set. The first tape will have the CATS movie and the second tape will be The Making of CATS which has only been previously available on the CATS DVD.

The Scoop for the month of June...

Dear All:

Summer is definitely on its way here—the sun is shining, the trees are losing their blossoms of spring and school is out pretty much everywhere. I’m guessing (hoping...?) that a lot of fanfics will be coming in now that everyone is on summer vacation. So keep writing, everyone, while the weather is good! June is the month of writing, so I’m hoping for great fanfics and no writer’s blocks!

I’m not sure exactly how updates will go here this summer—I’m taking some courses in the mornings so I’ll only have the afternoons to work on my page. My ideas for a second CATS webpage are forever changing—what I may eventually come up with may be totally different than what I planned. But it will definitely be a great one.

The Scoop for the month of May...

Dear All:

Well, as you can see, CATS Fanfic World is over five months old and we’ve had over 525 hits and 19 fanfics to our site thus far. It’s growing rather slow, but it IS growing! Thanks to everyone for his or her contributions! I couldn’t have done it with out you guys! *sniffle* I love you all!

So what’s next on the agenda? Hmm...oh yes. Here’s a pile of important news, so everyone keep your eyes open for this one. Due to the fact that I’m graduating from grade school this year, I want to do extra-special well during the last few weeks of the school year. (I especially need to catch up on my math...*wince* I’m behind on that at the moment...) So I’m not going to be updating this page at all until June 1st. Feel free to send me your fanfics during this time, though! I just won’t get around to them until June 1st. Thank you for understanding.

So what’s next on the agenda when I return? Well, lots. This summer I’m making a small little website devoted to my second favorite musical, Once Upon a Mattress. Then I’m either going to make an informative “Idiot’s Guide to CATS” site but if I don’t do that I’m going to make a shrine to a favorite railway cat of mine. (Hey...I purr-sonally think that there’ s too many Misto shrines out there...don’t get me wrong, I like Misto...but I’d like to see a shrine to someone else for a change...) Expect to see the beginnings of those projects pop up sometime in early July! And by then I’m going to continue to polish and update CATS Fanfic World! Keep an eye out for more updates and fun stuff!
