This fish is easy to keep.

Maintenance:

It is important that you feed tangs a good variety of live, frozen, and prepared formula foods with emphasis in vegetable and spirulina. Best to feed small amounts several times a day.

Habitat: Natural Geographic Location

Found in the pacific plate, north of the equator from Japan to Hawaii. Found at depths of 3 to 46 meters.

Foods:

Mainly found grazing on algae.

Social Behaviors:

Can get territorial espically f another tang is added to a tank with an already established tang. In nature they occour singly or in pairs in lagoons and along outer reefs in dense coral growths.

Found in areas with sunlight.

Breeding/Reproduction:

It has not been accomplished yet but if you can I would love to see!

Temperature:

No special requirements. Normal temp for marine fish is 75 to 79 degrees.

Adults can grow to 7 inches at when a full sized adult.

Minimum Tank Size:

A minimum 50 gallon for an adult.

No special requirements.

Water Region: Top,Middle,Lower

Swims all over the aquarium.

This fish is generally available and is inexpensive.
