They even opened up a music business together.  Though they had good times, these times were short-lived since Lila was pregnant with Matt's child.  Lila gave birth to their daughter, Jasmine Rachel Cassandra Cory in the elevator at the Lumina Ball.  The baby ended up missing, thus bringing the new parents closer together.  Once the baby was found, Matt proposed to Lila, in front of Sofia, at the Christening.  The two married and Sofia left Bay City for London.  On the day of the Christening, Matt visited the Lumina Foundation to thank Jordan Stark for helping the couple to find their daughter.  He left for the festivities completely brainwashed and remained this way for a number of months.  Meanwhile, Lila fell in love with Cass Winthrop and after much debate, Matt agreed to divorce her so she could marry Cass.  Matt turned out to be Lila's closest confident and friend when she had troubles with her relationship with Cass.  He even walked Jasmine down the aisle at Cass and Lila's wedding.

Grant went crazy and was institutionalized when his scam on Jake failed.  He began seeing Cindy at the hospital.  Grant won the election for Mayor: he ran against Donna.  He gave Cindy orders to supply Paulina with diet pills. Paulina then ran over Kirkland when she mixed them with liquor.  When Grant wanted to destroy Paulina’s credibility for taking the stand against him in Kirkland’s custody hearing, he drugged her and started her house on fire.  He paired up with Lila to make it appear that Vicky and Shane had been long having an affair.  This scheme led Donna to run down Marley and himself.  He was injured.  Cindy and Grant married and Grant had her institutionalized to keep her silenced about the Carlino fire.  He didn’t know she had a tape of his confession and before long all of Bay City was after this elusive tape. Grant had angered enough people, by using them, keeping quiet about things to give him an advantage, and by blackmailing them, that he was now alone.  He divorced Cindy and began to pursue Vicky again, but only to have her stab him in the back.  As his life was a mystery, so was his "death."  Grant was strangled by Tito, but his murderer went unjustified for quite awhile. Unbeknownst to Bay City, Grant may not be dead, but alive and well, residing on the Island of Tanquir.

Nick Hudson - Nick Terry arrived in Bay City after the death of his mother Diana in 1995.  After much trouble with the law, Nick was released from jail into the custody of his father, Michael Hudson.  Nick never knew his father, nor did Michael know about him.  After his arrival, Nick became attracted to Maggie Cory.  Maggie was involved with Tomas Rivera at the time which made any relationship between her and Nick hard.  Eventually, Maggie succumbed to Nick's flirtations, and the two were in the heat of passion until Tomas found them.  Maggie claimed that Nick was trying to rape her, but both saw through her lies.  Nick was then given a job at the Bay City Herald and on one of his not so pure missions, he met Sofia Carlino and instantly fell in love.  Shortly after a fight between them, Nick fell into the arms of Maggie, only to have Sofia walk in on the two.  Eventually, Sofia and Nick rekindled their romance and became engaged, only to have Maggie claim that she was pregnant by Nick.  Sofia took off in obvious humiliation and ended up in a serious car accident.  Nick married Maggie and Sofia started to become involved with Matt Cory.  Nick found out about Maggie's pregnancy lie and exposed her for who she was.  The two separated, leaving Nick to try and win Sofia back.  The two became close again, but on the eve of their wedding, Nick's father, Michael was killed in a car accident.  This was a terrible tragedy to Nick since he only recently found his father, and had recently saved his life by providing him with bone marrow. Also during this time Nick was wrongfully accused of raping Officer Toni Burrell. Soon Sofia fell in love with Matt Cory.  Nick began to move on and ran into a new girl in town, literally, Remy.  Remy was only in town to con Nick, but eventually her feelings changed.  She was beginning to care for him.  The two began dating and went through some rough times, especially when Remy admitted her ploy.  After they recuperated from their problems, the duo were in a serious car accident.  Remy was seriously injured and Nick professed his undying love to her.  Currently the two are together.

Reginald Love - In the late eighties Reginald Love first appeared on the show "Another World."  He had a past on the show without ever appearing though.  Earlier he murdered his wife Elizabeth, made it appear a suicide, and forced his daughter, Donna, to give birth to twins, separated the babies and forced Marley, the one the Love's kept, to grow up believing she was Donna's sister.  When Reginald appeared in Bay City years later, he had been believed dead.  He returned under the name of Reggie LaSalle, with his wife Marissa and adopted son, Scott.  The family came from Paraguay.  It turned out that he was Reginald Love and Marissa was Mary McKinnon who was believed dead in a drowning accident.  Actually, Reginald saved her life, found out she had amnesia, fake his own death, and took her to Paraguay where the two married.  Upon his return, both Vicky and Marley (his granddaughters, the twins) left Bay City to get away from him.  His son Peter always remained faithful to Reginald until the latter humiliated him by writing off his illegitimate grandson in front of society.  Peter wrote off his father and left Bay City.  Eventually, Mary regained her memory and left Reginald for good.  This villain was alone.  He had even been barred from the Love Mansion.  He scared his granddaughter Vicky into believing that her mother was going to leave her father, Michael for his brother John.  Vicky was so paranoid that one night chasing Donna and John, she ended up in a serious auto accident which left her comatose.  Reginald even went as far as to bribe a doctor to claim that Vicky and Marley belonged to John and not Michael.  Finally, he held a pregnant Donna hostage, which caused her to miscarry.  An angry Michael attacked him on a rooftop and Reginald fell to his death.

Sergei Radzinsky came to Bay City about eight months ago as a limo driver.  On his first limo experience, he drove Felicia Gallant and Cass Wintrop to an awards ceremony in honor of Felicia.  Sergei was extremely late to pick the duo up and tried to make up for his tardiness by driving fast, thus reckless.  They ended up in an accident and Felicia missed the ceremony.  She later called the limo service and Sergei got fired.  The distraught young man, showed up on Felicia's doorstep with his life story.  He was from Russia and aspired to be a musician in America.  Her actions of getting him fired have left him homeless and he blamed her.  Taken by him, Felicia agreed reluctantly to let him stay the night.  Ever so gracious, Sergei cooked her dinner and the two became quite good friends.  Sergei stayed with her on and off and she attempted to help him get noticed in the music industry.  Each time he had an event, he would not show.  Eventually, the INS caught up with him and once again Felicia covered for Sergei.  Sergei became severely ill with a "terminal" disease and to keep him in the country, with the INS off his back so he could receive treatment, the two married.  Many a time, they both thought he would die, but the doctor found that he had been misdiagnosed and that he only had mono.  By this time, Sergei had a terrible, terrible secret that the had to tell Felicia:  The whole time he had been researching her for an expose in retaliation for getting him fired.  The two reconciled and shared their first kiss at Cass and Lila's wedding under the fireworks.
