The woman pictured here, aside from wearing a stola, and a tunica, is also wearing what is known as a palla.  The palla is the white colored wrap she is wearing over everything else, and over her head.  A palla is a large rectangular wrap, at least 5' by 9' worn by all decent woman in public in Rome.  Basically a palla is very similar to a light cloak, or even a shawl.  In Iridine the palla is worn by most upper class, and woman of patrician stock, and so is not available in many of the common stores of Iridine.
