Why are you going to include other shows on this site?
Well, I really don't want this site to end. Once Xena's done, some people are gonna stop browsing Internet sites like mine, and I still feel that this thing has a lot of time left to live. Hell! The Martman Speaks has only been around for one year! Its good enough to go a few more years I think.
On a similar note, my Xena reviews aren't finished yet, and if the fans stop coming here when the show is done, then whats the point of doing the reviews?? I think that if I expand to other sites, Ill retain some of the Xenites that come here (hopefully all of them) long enough to finish all of my reviews. I truly hope that all the Xenites reading this will stick around long enough for me to review every episode.

How do you determine what score you end up giving an episode?
I rate all episodes on a scale of 0-10. In determining the score, I look for several things:
The relationship: How well is it presented in the ep? Does the ep build upon the relationship, tear it down and build it back up, or tear it down and leave it that way? (3 points)
The show's core values: (3 points)
Consistency in storylines, values, etc. (3 points)
Does the ep bring a tear to my eye or make me laugh hysterically? (1/2 point)
Is the ep fun to watch? (1/2 point)
I know this may seem a bit too mathematical for ya, but honestly I think it makes reviewing episodes a lot easier, and gives me some consistency in my reviews.

Will your reviews for the new sci-fi/fantasy shows be the same as the Xena ones?
No. I won't pretend that I like the new shows as much as Xena. I honestly don't think itll ever happen. And even if it does, I'm not gonna return to the style of reviewing I currently use once the show is over. I just don't feel like investing the time and effort it takes to make such a long and complex review for the new shows. I'll certainly summarize them and make comments, and I'll score em just like I do for Xena, but no, the style I use now will not transfer over.

I'm putting everything Xena related in the Xena and Gabrielle Forever Shrine. That way it'll be a shrine to EVERYTHING Xena-related, not just fan-fiction, poetry, artwork, and montages.

The Xena-Gabrielle Community will become a general board to post about all sci-fi shows this site covers, and any others people want to discuss. The MartForum will become the forum specifically for Xena, while other shows get their own boards.
