PULP(pulp)n.

In 1994 Quentin Tarantino released a film he made for about $8 million. A low budget film by Hollywood standards. Pulp Fiction had won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and opened the New York Film Festival.
It rewarded it's screenwriters, Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary, with an Oscar for best original screenplay as well as the independent Spirit Award. The film elevvated John travolta to Hollywoods A-list, as well as getting him an Oscar nomination. And proved that Tarantino was much more than a fluk.
Vincent Vega-John Travolta Ok here are some facts you my or my not know about Pulp Fiction. Vincent Vega(John Travolta) is the brother of Reservoir Dogs' Vic Vega a.k.a. Mr. Blonde. Rosanna Arqette tested for rthe role of Mia and wound up with role of Eric Stoltz wife and actually did pierce some body parts for the movie. All the actors made scale on this film, $1400 a week. Can you imagen Daniel Day Lewis as Vincent. Just thank god Quentin stuck to his guns on this one, but that is who Miramax wanted. Quentin and Eric Stoltz walked around in their robes for days to give them there well worn apperance. They actually had a compitition to see whose looked more lived in. Samuel L. Jackson almost lost the role to the guy who plays the bar tender,Paul Tatagliarone. Both Sam and Ving Rhames auditioned for thte rolr of the cop in Reservoir Dogs who helps Mr.Orange set up his story.
