Women Is Beauty--Sculpture of Strife
by Jeff Cagle
Written after seeing Oliver Stony's The Doors flick.

Women is beauty -- sculpture of life
true to form marble, molds your wife.
Women holds baby, child in arms
too young to woe in her charms.

Busted -- out in the cold --
city life's getting old.
No money and nothing to eat
there' s no life -- out in the street.

As the clouds cover the moon,
her only shelter is the breeze.
A mother holds her small child;
holding off the streets freeze.

Taking off her coat --
she carefully wrapped the girl so.
She then held her tightly
for mornings a long way to go.

Finally as the sun returns to warm,
the child wakes and starts to cry,
too young she doesn't know
why her mother - had to die.

For you - For you she cried
For you - For you - she died.
For you - she gave in to the night
so that you could see mornings light.

Busted -- out in the cold --
city life's getting old.
No money and nothing to eat
there' s no life -- out in the street.

Busted -- out in the cold --
city life's getting old.
No money and nothing to eat
there' s no life -- out in the street.
