Dana Halevi is surely the surprise discovery of this or any year's Jacob's
Ladder Festival.
Dana's clear as a bell voice and her warm stage presence held the audience
spellbound.
There was standing room only for her performance as word got out
that here was a show worth squeezing into and standing up for.
She was accompanied by Shay Tochner on guitar, Shai who never misses a beat- Shay
who is more than just an accompanist but an entertainer in his own right.
The pair immediately established a rapport with the audience which built up
and after an hour left them calling for more.
Dana Halevi and Shay Tochner
are well worth hearing and following, and will surely become household names
in the Israeli and International folk scenes.
