Tony Autrey's 82' Firebird T/A

Well I will let Tony tell you the story of his bird........

It is an '82 Trans Am with a 383 stroker, Competition Cams 292 cam, hyperutectic pistons, ported heads, Edelbrock performer intake, rebuilt 700R4 tranny with a shift kit, Rancho shocks/struts, and soooo much more. It runs high 8's in the 1/8 mile (but could do better). The car was originally a 4 speed/cross fire injection car (clutch pedal still there!). In January of this year someone turned in front of me and smashed the front end. The car is now back on the road with a complete front end (all NEW GM sheetmetal) for a '90 GTA including all ground effects (from wrecked GTA) and new GM front and rear bumper covers! I also put the complete WS6 suspension and 16" wheels on it with new Z rated tires from the GTA donor car. Future mods include the installation of an LT1 6speed that is currently sitting on my garage floor. I should have it painted in a few weeks!
Miles's 88' Camaro

This is Mile's 88 Camaro with a 427BBC, T400. He says "It started life as a 2.8L and is now a 7L.It made 500hp and 520lbft on the dyno running 92 octane gas. I drive this car almost daily during the summer. It runs 7.91sec 1/8mile et's at 92mph with 1.72 60ft times. Oh yea, this is with a 3.27:1 gear in the rear end. More gear should push it into the 7.3-7.5 at over 100mph range".mek88427 's Home Page
