Welcome to THE A.J. SHOW OFFICIAL WEBSITE! A.J. Roberts endorses this site. The A.J. Show is a comedy/variety program on channel 22 on Fridays at 6:00p.m. The congressionally recognized show currenty airs in Illinois in Peoria, West Peoria, East Peoria, Peoria Heights, Washington, Bartonville, Sunnyland, and Creve Coeur.
P.O.D. Endorses The A.J. Show
Atlanta, Georgia - producer Nick Angilello will be visiting the former Olympic city with footage of the city and of his old hometown where he lived for 5 years prior to coming to Peoria. So we will see what he has in store for us with a live via satelite interview with A.J. Look for that show for a early to mid September airing.
The A.J. Show had full coverage of the largest Christain music festival in the world! Nick Angilello, Kevin Eagan, and new member to the crew Dan Wachtival were there on location. We did many interview and have lots of footage of bands like P.O.D., Five Iron Frenzy, Skillet, The W's, Scientific, and many more. We spent 7 days dealing with thunderstorms, scolding sunlight, and humid conditions just for your enjoyment. We also started a huge mud fight composing of 70 people, and were interviewed by HOI news in Peoria, IL. Mercy, we can't go anywhere without causing a raucous!
The show is doing well, but A.J. still wants your help! Do you have a special talent or have an interesting story to tell? Are you in a band or help out in the commmunity? You can be on the A.J. A.J. is the host and co-creator of "The A.J. Show". He not only hosts, but he directs and writes many of the segments on the show. A.J. leads a fairly adventuresome life. One day he's in the Dominican Republic and the next day he's in Iowa, but somehow he finds time to keep the show going. He was the class president of his senior class. He is also a Marine. Other cast members are scared of A.J. just because of the little fact that he is a trained killing machine. Why that would bother anyone is beyond me. A.J. also attends Bradley University. He also has a stupid crush on a girl named Angie Kaiser...HEY!!! Don't write that! ...uh, nevermind, we didn't say anything...LOOK! It's a distraction!
A.J.'s Dad is the coolest dad on the planet. He is the producer of the show and also helps with technical stuff. A.J.'s Dad announces for the show. When he is not doing all that for the show, he is seen doing various voice-overs (how can you be seen doing a voice-over?), as well as playing different parts in comedy sketches on the show. He does drama for a local ministry.
As our technical director and part-time producer, Nick is found in the control room at the studio trying to push the right buttons that his years (or is it weeks..) of training have taught him, but he just usually goes on his own program. As the movie commentator, he really knows his movies, unfortunately, A.J. doesn't pay him enough to see any. Nick is a big help on the show and is looking to do his best with every episode. He is also single for you ladies out there. Nick is a senior, runs track and cross country, works for the school paper as a skilled reporter and photographer. He attends church and is active as a leader in the youth group and in the Drama ministry along with A.J.
Bob has a lot of creativity which the A.J. Show has taken advantage of. He has helped with various comedic sketches and is always coming up with more funny ideas for the show. He also has done some camera work and is writing comical sketches for the show. He is involved in speech and other activities. He has also found a secret passageway to Iowa from the studio that he uses to escape A.J.'s tyrannical directorial habits. Bobby is not Joe Cobb. Joe is someone completely different.
Kevin is an international man of mystery and great help on the show, even though he lives in England. He is currently touring in Europe, but he manages to continue to aid the show by being the show's European correspondent. He plays lead guitar for the famed band "KEB" which was nominated for a Grammy. The band has reached international status, especially with Kevin touring in the British Isles. Their biggest foreign following is actually in Russia where the biggest orders for their CD has come from. Kevin is going places! He is not Dirk which we had on the show a few seasons ago.
Craig started off his stint with the A.J. Show on the spin-off "Nick Angilello Show" (shudder...), but despite this, has risen to become a frequent personality in the late third season and going into the fourth. At times he's the voice of reason and motivation when nothing is getting done, but sometimes he just helps beat up Nick like everyone else. Craig is involved in Key Club, track, and cross country.
John is usually a cameraman, but his talents don't stop there. He is an excellent writer, having written many sketches and jokes that would be really funny, but A.J. can't act worth a darn (which is about 5.3 cents) so, they seem not as funny...sorry..
Brian has been another skilled cameraman on the show who is rumored to be the mysterious "King of Dirt," a nefarious villian capable of planetary destruction and the King of Dirt also does that clicking sound when he chews. "The King of Dirt" was also in the show's first seasons.
Chris acts as a cameraman, grip, and set designer for the show. He's also A.J.'s cousin (gosh, I wonder how he got to work for the show). Chris has an awesome '79 Mustang that is a major babe magnet....at least that's what we think.
