Week 7 produced our highest scoring night to date as the League averaged 657 per man. WOW! The Trophy King team just flat whacked the devil out of the pins this week as they posted the top series and the top three team games. Not to mention the fact that their anchorman led the league by posting the seasons first 800 series. In game one the Trophy King five-some got off to a good start with a 1223 game. Little did we know that they were just getting warmed up. In game two, three of the teammates had the front eight strikes, while the anchorman was working on a 280 game. A couple of shots that didn't strike and a split in the tenth left them with the seasons highest team game, a massive 1335. In game three, they slowed down a bit, but still managed to toss an 1197 game to finish the night, giving them a huge 3755 series. Matt Weggen led the charge with lines of 247-279-278 for an 804 series that easily topped the league. Tye Pogar (Nick's Rod & Reel) had the nights second best series with a 790 effort that had lines of 224-286-280. Greg Hockett had the nights best individual game with a 296.
Oddities, notes, and other bits of useless information: 10 bowlers reached the 700 mark while 32 rolled better than 600, leaving 8 bowlers with 500 or more.
