The book: Many Waters

The Author: Madeleine L'Engle

And here's why. . .
This its about twins (guys) and the author writes a twisted version of Noah's time. It may sound geeky, but it is actually good. Falling in love, death, happiness, everything is here.

The book: Letters from the inside

The Author: John Marsden

And here's why. . .

This book starts out about two girls from Australia that start writing to each other. The entire book is made up of the letters. Mandy and Tracey soon share all of their hopes, fears, and secrets.

Tracey is rich and is always going on these vacations with her perfect family, and Mandy has a brother who's abusive, and her parents won't believe her.

Eventually, though, Mandy notices inconsistencies in Tracey's letters. When Tracey's secret comes out, everything changes. I'll leave that surprise for you to find out. But things don't end there. Just when Tracy and Mandy (who she nicknames Manna) start to mend their friendship, something else happens - it's not really revealed in the book, but if you carefully read Mandy's last letter, you'll understand what happened. So read this book, 'cuz it's really great and interesting and delves into your heart, and you get to the point where you can't put it down!

The book: Tomorrow When The War Began

The Author: John Marsden

And here's why. . .

This is just adding a little onto the last review. The premise of the book is that 7 friends go out bush, camping in Australia. When the get back, they find Australia is being taken over by an enemy country. Throughout the next 6 books, their friendships grow, they lose loved ones, try to sustain a romance whilst figuring out what will become of their lives. The books in the series are amazing and incredibly well-written; they're sad, funny, thoughtful, daring and horrifying. The books are ranked 4th in Australia; behind the Lord Of The Rings trilogy, and in front of The Bible!

This book is great if you like science or medicine or want to learn more about it. it is first in a "brand new series". Caution: has some 'adult parts' but the 'adult parts' aren't really so bad.
