I grew up in a teeny-tiny town in Northwestern Illinois called Elizabeth. No, really, it's very small... population 650. What's funnier than that is this: my graduating class was 42 people!
In December '97, I completed my Associates in Arts degree at Blackhawk Community College in
Moline, IL. It took me (only) three and a half years to get this degree due to me changing my major about 4 times, but hey, I did it!
Now I'm a Senior at
Illinois State University where I am majoring in Telecommunications Management. It's a sequence of the Applied Computer Science program. Only one and a half more semesters to go, and then I'm outta here! I plan on moving somewhere out west, possibly in the Denver, CO area. But when it comes to living in the mountains, I'm not picky!
My interests are rock climbing, hiking, camping, canoeing, jogging, movies, playing guitar, drums, listening to music, going on road trips and well, pretty
much anything to do with being outside. I'm co-president of the
ISU rock climbing club (surprising that there is such a thing here in the flatlands, eh?) I've been a member for almost two years now, and joining is the best thing I have done since I got here to ISU!
I am also into staying in shape. I try to go jogging at least 4 times a week, if not more. If I don't, I try to get some other kind of exercise like rollerblading or riding a bike.
My favorite girl in my life right now is Annie Smith. I met her at the beginning of this semester when she joined the
ISU Rock Climbing Club. We've been together for one year now. Check out a picture of us
here.
