"I think I'm better off just dating Miss Michigan."
It was the fall of 1991 when Mustard Plug first started rattling basement foundations in Grand Rapids. It's members, comprised mainly of local no-name punk rock talent and misfit jazz and band musicians, got together to play their own brand of high energy, punk influenced ska. By the following spring, Mustard Plug emerged from their subterranean coccoon to reap havoc on the local scene. Within a few short months they had garnered a near fanatical following among local yahoos for their always entertaining if not outrageous. After one extremely successful release on Moon Records, Mustard Plug is now playing their music on Hopeless Records.
