Nuriko is the third Suzaku warrior that is found. She has been in the Saraglio in Konan for
about a year, her sights upon the Emporor. She first appears in Episode Three.
SPOILER: As a kid, Ryuuisen (I think thats how you spell it) had a
sister named Korin, which he loved dearly. One day, as he watched his
sister cross the street to follow him, Korin was trampled by horses
crossing the street. He watched her helplessly, horrified. His father and
mother told him to forget about his sister, but having such a close bond
with her, he dressed up in her clothes and convinced himself that,
Korin, could live through him. Thus, Nuriko was born. The only
reason he has fallen in love with the emporer is because he believes
that Korin would have loved him, therefore, he acted out on how he
thought she would. Later on though, he starts to dress like a man and he (to the suprise of
everyone) chops off his braid. He falls in love with Miaka, and admits this to Tamahome, but
promises Tamahome that he will watch her from afar, like he has done with Hotohori.
