Chest Surgery with Brownstein
at the hotel.... Drains and all. My head was severely sun burnt From walking around downtown San Francisco the day before surgery so I'm relaxing in the shade.

Itinerary
Tuesday July 15th (AAAAAH)
6:55pm ATA Flight to San Fran from Chicago (4hr31min)
9:26pm Arrive at San Fran
10:30pm Find PAYLESS Car Rental and take shuttle to pick up car
11:30pm Check-in to Comfort Suites San Francisco Airport**

**Chose this hotel b/c it's near the airport and Brownstein's office and it has a
fridge & microwave along with normal amenities and ran $48 a night on travelocity.
Wednesday July 16th
8:00am Took Cal-Train (right behind hotel) to the city and wandered around all day.
4:15pm Pre-op Appt. with Dr. Brownstein (took bus there and walked 3 blocks to take Cal-train home)
Thursday July 17th
6:00am Be at Surgery Center
?? Left Surgery center
Thurs-Sun
Emptied drains every six hours for first 24 hours and then when full.
Dr. B calls a couple times to check up on me.
Change pain meds to stop nausea
Sleep and watch TV and order in.
Attempt to go out to dinner on Sat. and decide it's just too darn hard right now.
Sunday July 20th
Drove to Capitola (near Santa Cruz) and stayed the nite with Great Aunt.
Tuesday July 22nd
Got drains out and starting driving the car again. (A little anal about city driving)
Thursday July 24th
10:00am Got stitches out
11:00am Back to hotel for first shower in a week
12:00pm Check-out of hotel
12-3pm Drive to San Mateo and go shopping and eat pizza
3:00pm Have Car back at PAYLESS and take shuttle to airport
5:25pm ATA Flight to Chicago (3hr55min)
11:20pm Arrive at Chicago and pay a ridiculous amount for long-term parking.
