This is a page dedicated to my first generation Mazda RX-7. It is a 1981 GSL model powered by the Mazda 12A Rotary Engine. It is a fun little car to drive and get me around. Feel free to take a look around or e-mail me if you have any questions or would just like to say hi.
Engine
The original engine has about 84,000 miles on it. It runs off of one rotor because one of the apex seals fell out and ruined one of the chambers. Currently I have another 12A rotary engine in my car. I picked up another 1981 RX-7 from a local junk lot for $75. The engine in this car has 180,000 miles on it and runs, but it is lacking some power. I took the engine out of the junker and put in my good RX-7 for the time being.
When I took my original engine apart, I relized that there was to much damage to salvage anything out of the motor. I would like to find 13b engine to port and rebuild to put in my car. If anyone has any information, please e-mail me.
