Looking for ancestors of family of James T. Taylor from Hardin County. His children were Wm. D. Taylor and Lucy who married 1) Wm. Ginger 2) James Carr. Hardin County ~ Feb 98
My father was born in Elizabethtown IL. on a farm outside town called Keeling Community, I think, his family original came there in the 1850s starting with Mashack Shadrack Stacy/Stacy, his son, William Jordan Stacey, his son, William Britton Stacey and then his son, my dad, Allen Kieffer Stacey. there are still many relatives in Hardin Co. I would appreciate any info anyone may have on my line, also, the family came from Jackson Co. TN. I do not have a name for Mashack's parents, he was born in 1806 in Jackson Co. TN.
