Well with the Angelfire/Lycos alliance, Lycos plastered their ads on Angelfire's members sites..
and what choice have we but to comply? or pay, or get some stupid aol member site, or take 2 hours to find a geocities place that has a logo no matter where you go.. no screw thaT!
So oh well, a stupid banner. Well a banner certainly should follow Angelfire's contracts about pornography or anything indecent on thier sites.
And we don't post anything indecent beacause this is a representation of us and we are decent.
So one day eric finds on the top of our page an ad for a porn site! egads. so we notify the authorities at angelfire, and guess who apologized?
"Hello, We are extremely sorry for the appearance of this ad on Angelfire. I have notified the correct authorities, and they will see that the offensive ad is taken out of rotation immediately. We thank you for calling this matter to our attention. It is most assuredly a mistake that the ad was ever placed on Angelfire to begin with. Again, you have our most sincere apologies. maybe they aren't that corrupted after all.
