The Nova!

This is my BIG Baby.... For almost 10 years, I have been working on her, finally I am close enough to let everyone get a look. I started out with a 350 small block/TH 350 combo, which, with street radials, and thru the exhaust, went 13.20's. Finally, my good friends, Chris Chalkey, Eric Miller, and Mick Kmetz traded labor to narrow her. Now, Specs are as follows: Engine: 489 ci., 8.75:1 Comp, Lunati .680/.695 roller cam, 850 double pumper, ATI Dominator 1 Supercharger . Trans: Bob Phillips TH400w/B&M pro transbrake. Rearend: Strange/F**d 9" w/35 spline Mosier axles, and Strange spool and case. Present gear is a 3.89:1 for the Blower engine. Line weight is 3890 lbs, really heavy for a Nova, but that includes the all steel body, full interior, Big Block, 9" Rearend, complete 4" Flowmaster exhaust.... etc.etc. 10/4/98 Its IN!!!! Time to go to the track...
Before we narrowed her, still small block  Front view. 73 Torino hood scoop looks good, eh? Rear view. All business Side view, one of these decades, I will have 4 matching rims!!!!
As I bought her(terrible pic.) As I bought her (terrible pic.) Trunk: Pretty cool eh? Serious fuel wastage goin' on. Not much time to keep it clean. You get the picture though.
My daily driver, EVERYONE should drive one of these! Its FUN! Mocked up, almost ready to drop in! WOOOHOOOO!!! Gotta love it... Waiting for a victim..WANNA RUN?
