Jarvis Cocker

Jarvis Branson Cocker was born in Sheffield on September 19th, 1963. He founded (Arabacus) Pulp in 1978 and has been the vocalist for the band ever since. His first job was working for an alcoholic fishmonger, scrubbing crabs apparently.

Jarvis is six foot two with greeny brown eyes, and his interests include mending electrical items, and shoe collecting.

Many people will know Jarvis because of his infamous attack on Michael Jackson at the Brit Awards 1996.

Nick Banks

Nicholas David Banks was born in Rotherham on the 28th July 1965. He joined Pulp to play drums in 1987.

Nick is five foot eleven, has "murky" eyes, and his interests include football and motoring.

His uncle is the famous goal-keeper Gordon Banks.

Candida Doyle

Candida Mary Doyle was born in Belfast on the 25th August 1963. She first joined Pulp to play keyboards in 1985; her brother Magnus Doyle was already in the band at that time. Pulp sort of split up in 1986, but Candida returned to the fold in 1987. She does occasional backing vocals as well.

Candida is five foot two, with blue eyes, and her interests include plastic jewellery and phoning solicitors.

Mark has only recently joined the band after running their fanclub for several years.

 

Steve Mackey

Stephen Patrick Mackey was born in Sheffield on 10th November 1966. He joined Pulp to play bass in 1988.

Steve is six foot two and a half, has hazel eyes, and his interests include cinema and socializing.
