I choose to make a page dedicated to Tyra Banks. You're probably wondering why. I'm not a guy so you know I didn't do it cuz she's extremely pretty and she's got a huge chest. I did it cuz she's not like all those other stuck up models and she deserves to be recognized more often.
We all know her from that commercial easy breezy beautiful cover girl you know that cover girl one. We also know her from those Victoria's Secret mags, and the Sports Illustrated cover girl and now, author of Tyra's Beauty: Inside and Out. It's a book full of advice, a collection of anecdotes, and --of course-- pictures. She even includes the real pics of her the unretouched pictures revealing everything from zits to heat rash to shadows under her eye. Now think about it, would a stuck up model show you that crap?
Who would have ever thought that an 11 year old at 5 feet 8 inches weighing a scrawny 98 pounds would have ever become a beautiful 24 yr old 5 feet 11 inches and 130 pounds supermodel. Tyra Banks was born on December 4, 1973 in Los Angeles, California. She was the daughter of a computer salesman and a medical photographer. Tyra was always very close to her mom and she could talk to her about anything, that's most of the reason she never got into the trouble some models have with drugs and alcohol.
The only thing fake about Tyra are those tawny hair extensions, so in other words all that hair is not hers. That also means her breasts are real too, everybody seems to wanna know that question. So she's a natural beauty from her golden skin set off by her wide green eyes to her naturally thick eyelashes. While she may be tall and she's able to model that skimpy piece of crap clothing, Tyra is not what you would call anorexic or scrawny (unlike those other nasty ass models).
Tyra Banks is not just a fashion model. She's a much admired role model (I'm one of her many admirers). Her abiding love for children, animals and the environment, together with her belief in the value of education, makes her a standout. And she backs up her sentiments with a lot more than lipservice. Tyra currently is promoting a line of greeting cards for Children + Families, an organization dedicated to helping abused and neglected kids. The cards, Cards From The Heart by Tyra's Kidsuccess Kids, were created by children aged 8 and 9 in an after-school reading and arts program. The project is designed to enhance literacy for children living in troubled environments.
Did you know Tyra Banks was also a spokesmodel for Swatch watches??? of all things why watches???
Did you know she had also made appearances on t.v. shows such as the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and New York Undercover and the movie Higher learning?
