Fantastic Planet

Well hey everyone. I guess it's time for my now biannual update! Im planning on putting up a lot more pics that Im gonna start scanning so there will be some much more recent pics of me on here. I'll also be adding as many little tidbits as I possibly can on here including information about some of my bands and about some other bands that I think everyone should give a chance to listen to and possibly even enjoy! So keep an eye out and have a great time!

Hello, welcome to my page. My name is Derek Kolb. You may also know me as Perfect Imposter (on ICQ). My new # is 15712632. I also have AOL Instant Message thingie and my name on that is klbycheeze. Now for those of you who want to know about me, I am a 19 year old male and I live in Peoria, Illinois. I moved into an apartment with a good friend of mine who happens to play drums in one of my bands. I started the apartment life at the end of August 2000 and thus started an exciting new chapter in my life. I now actually have a "real" job and am attending what some would call college. I don't really call it that...I like to call it, ICC. (If you live around here you know exactly what I'm talking about). I like to play guitar and I am in 2 bands...Simon and Foreign Objects. Simon is an original band I've been in since about the same time I moved out. The music is very British influenced and is some good upbeat stuff that I really enjoy. Foreign Objects is basically a cover band. We play a lot of different music varying from Dave Matthews to Green Day. We also play a few originals which are really catchy but aren't too involved musically. Its fun though. I also like to draw, but ever since my guitar ive been slacking off on my drawing. I enjoy mainly alternative music (as you can see from my list), but i also like a lot of other stuff. Email me if you would like to know anymore. I love getting emails from people. Oh and this page is under some construction. I'll work on it whenever i get the urge.
Oh and if you are curious about the name of this page, its the title of an amazing cd. Well, in my opinion it is. As well as everyone who has been willing to actually listen to it. It is the 3rd album of a band called Failure. They have recently broken up but the spirit lives on! The lead singer has recent finished his solo album which is an incredible album that I strongly recommend to everyone. The name of the "band" is ON and the album is called "Shifting Skin."
