Evanston IL 60201-1337
We are the North shore Weavers Guild (NSWG) and we were founded in 1954 to encourage creative handweaving and to promote fellowship among weavers.

We meet the 1st Thursday each month, 10:30 a.m. at Women's club of Wilmette. The april meeting is an evening meeting.

Nightweavers meet the 2nd Thursday evening each month at different homes, 7:30 p.m. Check the newsletter for address.

The NSWG has quite an impressive library housed at the Serendipity Shop, 2 Prairie Road, Park Ridge. Take advantage of this wonderful resource and check out some videos and/or books on just about everything related to weaving, spinning, felting, knitting, etc.

Any handweaver interested in the Guild's objectives, who has 3 samples of his/her own handweaving approved by the Admissions Committee, may become an active member upon payment of dues. Your 3 handwovens can be submitted by you or someone designated to submit them at any of the Guild meetings.
