The results are in! Grand total raised was $1,050.00!!! True Innocents Equine Rescue and Heaven Can Wait~Equine Rescue will receive $300.00 each. Carpe Diem Equine Rescue will receive $450.00. (Differences in amounts received is due to specified percentages of donated items.)
Shawn Ratliff and Erin Yates held an e-bay model horse auction this past spring/summer of '99. ALL proceeds from the auction (minus e-bay fees) went to equine rescue organizations such as "True Innocents Equine Rescue" (T.I.E.R), "Heaven Can Wait~Equine Rescue", and "Carpe Diem Equine Rescue".
T.I.E.R rescues horses from feedlots in California. Gail visits the feedlots on a regular basis and reports on the horses that need help. Some of these horses are often sick and/or lame without the benefit of medical attention.More information about T.I.E.R can be found at: T.I.E.R. Home Page

Carpe Diem rescues horses from the New Holland, Pennsylvania auction. Most of the horses in this auction are purchased by "killer buyers" and shipped to slaughterhouses across the country."Ladybug" of Carpe Diem donated about a dozen model horses to the auction! She has requested that the money raised from her donated items go to Carpe Diem.
