Rage3D.Com has published some information
about ATI's next line of cards... interesting stuff...
"Rage 128 Pro - Mainstream
Rage 128 Pro Ultra - Probably a 0.18m enhanced version of Rage 128 Pro.
Radeon - High-end chip, volume shipment in July to entire market, including
retail. (Wow does this mean there isn't going to be a delay?!)
RD100 - Radeon technology formed into a more cost effective product,
expected to be performance leader in it's segment.
R200 - Second generation Radeon to be released by the end of this calendar
year.
R300 - Thrid generation Radeon, revolutionary changes (programmable
T&L), to be released during the first half of 2001. According to many
industry sources and ATI, the integrated market will move from 30% desktop
share in 2000 to over 50% in 2001."

The Athlon mo-bo guide at AllHW.com
has been updated.
"With the recent introduction of the Thunderbird and Duron processors,
AMD and the Athlon are hotter than ever. We thought it was a good time
to update our Athlon Motherboard Compendium. We've updated all the old
boards; but more importantly we've got the scoop on all the latest KT133-based
boards ... We've pooled together all the information we could find about
all the currently available boards to save you time when making a decision.
We have all the specs, manufacturer information, manuals, pictures and
reviews on 40 different boards."

gotten thier hands on something intersting...
As it seems, Gateway is delaying their release of ThunderBirds Athlon
powered computers because of a bug in either the
power supply or the minaboard chipsets that cuases systems to hang..
"Gateway is replacing the "Thunderbird" processor with older
"classic" Athlon-based models until it can isolate the problem, which
it discovered internally on June 12. The company said it believes the
trouble lies in the motherboard or in the power supply, but has not
determined which, or whether, either component is at fault. Gateway
hopes to find and resolve the problem in time for shipments to resume
by July 10, the spokesman said. "

Chris has posted a review of the Soltek
75KV motherboard.
"This motherboard is a KT133-based Socket-A board with 6 PCI,
1 ISA, 1 AGP, and 3 DIMMs. It has FSB frequencies up to 150 MHz, with
settings of 100, 103, 105, 110, 112, and 115 MHz at the low-end of the
spectrum. The board seems to have remained stable at 110 MHz and below."
