RUNNING AWAY
I tried to love you but you pushed me away
I couldn't hold you, you just slipped away

Another boy, another toy,
Another dollar, another day
You won't let yourself be loved
'cause you're still running away

You see, I used to be just like you, and
I know how the game is played.
Find one you can control so you can run away

Draw close draw back, it's not mean
It's just a fact

Maybe it's payback for the girls I hurt before
But now you've done it to me
And I feel the heartbreak more

I hope one day you find your peace, and know
you're worthwhile but until then,

Another boy, another toy,
Another dollar, another day
You won't let yourself be loved
'cause you're still running away

SUNDAY NIGHT
Another Sunday night alone.....
Well Friday I get drunk with the boys
And Saturday is full of do'in chores

But Sunday night comes and I'm alone again
Pressing my shirt and packing my lunch,
Standing in my shorts, I haven't even showered
Who cares, who sees me
I can barely see myself

Depression, Obsession, Confession
Contusion, Illusion, Confusion

Thought I had found one, but,
She slipped away.....
A matter of timing, I can't say
She needs a friend, so I'll stay
But it's Sunday night and
I'm alone again
