Action at Salem Cemetery, near Jackson, December 19, 1862. Holly Springs, Miss., December 20 (Detachment). Detachment captured. Duty at Jackson, Tenn., till April 18, 1863. Moved to LaGrange, Tenn., April 18, and duty there till August. Moved to Memphis, Tenn., thence to Helena, Ark., August 19 - 28. Steele's Campaign against Little Rock, Ark., August 28 - September 10. Bayou Fourche and capture of Little Rock September 10. Duty at Little Rock till April 25, 1864, and at Pine Bluff till July 28, 1865. Veterans on furlough August 12 to November 25, 1864. Moved to Fort Gibson, Cherokee Nation, July 28, 1865, and duty there till March, 1866.

Mustered out March 6, 1866.

Regiment lost during service 3 Enlisted men killed and mortally wounded and 9 Officers and 251 Enlisted men by disease. Total 263.
