Why did we name our band “Beat’n Path”. We named our band Beat’n Path because we are presenting the path where Jesus Christ got beaten, on His way to Calvary to shed His precious blood to forgive us of our sins. God sacrificed His son for us because He loves us so much. That’s why we serve the Lord through our music and through sharing the greatness that He has done in our lives.
It all started even before we formed the group. God has blessed each and everyone of us with our own talents. Some of us have the talent of composing songs, some of us have the talent of singing and playing musical instruments, some of us have the talent of recording songs. But God has called us together to form a group to evangelize, to spread His word and greatness.
We also started leading the praise and worship in our church. We all feel that we grew to know more about God in this group. We want to go out there to reach out to unsaved people. God has given us a vision, a vision that moving us to continue this ministry. God has provided all our needs and we have faith He will provide the things that we will need.
We have been going to other churches and sharing our objectives. We also held small concerts at the park and summer camp. We are in process of recording our first CD, so we could sell it and people could hear the message of our songs. Most of our songs we composed are testimonies of our lives.
We believe that God sent His son (Jesus Christ) to forgive us of our sins.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. JOHN 3:16
We believe that there’s only one way to heaven which is through Jesus Christ.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. JOHN14:6
We believe that if we put God first in our lives, He will take care of everything.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. PROVERB 3:5-6
