*Things to consider when shopping OEM and Reproduction spoilers

Originals have the advantage of being entirely authentic in appearance & in the way they mount.
Reproductions usually don't have mounting holes like OEM does. For a better fit, and to avoid
spoiler alteration, it is recommended not to mix original and reproduction when using  front spoilers with air dams. 
Additionally, it has been my experience that when a reproduction spoiler cracks (i.e. 78-81 camaro bumper cover),
it cracks off and leaves a hole whereas an original just tears (making it easier to fix). This is probably 
to due in the difference of material. 

**Why use?

Front spoilers and air dams not only make you car look more aggressive, 
they also serve a function of diverting the air that would normally go under the car, around the sides.
This creates a vacuum under the car and tends to pull the car closer to the ground, making your car handle better.
They can also increase your gas mileage by 10% and make your car run cooler by getting more air through the radiator.
