Welcome to my page. I am a small
breeder of AKC registered Siberian Huskies. I have been owned by Siberian Huskies
for the past 17 years. They teach me new things every day.
Please check back often as I will be updating with more pics of my "fur kids."
Although Siberians are beautiful, loving creatures, please take the time to research the breed before acquiring one. Siberians are not for everyone.
With that said...let me introduce you to my "kids"...
~ Cheyenne's Mystic Wind ~
Cheyenne is the "alpha female". She has been a member of the family for almost 8 years now. She is, without a doubt, the "boss" of the yard.
~ Moseley Midnight Eclipse ~
"Joe" has been with the family for 2 years now. He is currently in obedience training and also training to be a sled dog.
Introducing our newest member of the pack:
~ Angelwolf's Shooting Star ~ ~
Star is our newest addition. At 6 weeks old, she's quickly becoming the queen of the house. As soon as she's old enough, she will also go into obedience training.
Here are a few points to consider before aquiring a Siberian Husky:
- Siberians are "people friendly" and do not make good guard dogs
- Siberians love to run and need excercise
- Siberians will not sit on the porch all day
- Siberians shed their coats twice a year...and believe me, there is alot of fur
- Siberians are very intelligent and strong willed
- Did I mention, they shed?
Although Siberians have starred in many movies, please keep in mind that they are not "born actors"...it takes lots of time and training.
Now for the good side of being owned by a Siberian:
- Siberians are loyal and loving companions.
- Siberians are low maintenance.
- They require less food for their size than other dogs.
- Except for blowing their coats, grooming is minimal.
- Siberians are not bothered by fleas & ticks as much as other breeds
- Siberians have a captivating personality.
- Siberians have a very striking appearance.
