Angelwolf's Wolves & Siberians
Welcome to my page. I hope you will enjoy your visit.
For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated with wolves. Throughout history, through stories and movies, wolves have almost always been depicted as vicious, almost evil creatures. Because of this, they are feared and have been driven to the brink of extinction.
The wolf is an amazing intelligent creature. And, they are second only to humans in their ability to adapt to their surroundings in order to survive.
For all of you fellow "wolf lovers", I hope you enjoy my page. And for everyone else, I hope that some of the information on my pages will help you understand a little more about this magnificent creature.
Here are some interesting wolf facts:
Wolves are normally afraid of people, and try to avoid them whenever possible.
Adult wolves have the ability to regulate their body temperatures to adapt to changes in the weather. The puppies cannot, so they must stay close to the warmth of their mothers.
Wolves have no natural predators, except humans.
Out of every 24 hour period, wolves spend eight to ten hours on the move.
The size of a wolf litter is about 5 to 6 puppies.
A puppy can eat up to 2 pounds of food a day.
Sometimes it has been argued whether wolves really mate for life. Some say it is just a romantic notion...but, what can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic.
I am also a small breeder of Siberian Huskies. From time to time, I do have litters for sale. Use the links below to go to my Siberian Husky page to view available puppies.
