Academic Probation More than 1 time

Acdemic Probation
more than 1 time





If you've been on Academic Probation MORE than 1 time. The CJS Department will help you get serious about your degree.
In addition to meeting the minimum gpa and course requirements you must also complete the following.

Students who have been on academic probation more than 1 time MUST:
a. attend a study skills workshop
b. attend a time management workshop
c. make at least one visit to the Student Counseling
service for a meeting with a counselor.
(you must ask the CJS Advisor for a referral)
d. make application in writing to the Department Chairperson. This application must include WHY you want to be a CJS major, WHY you seem to be unable to keep your GPA above a 2.0, and WHAT steps you are taking (besides a, b, and c, above) to improve your academic progress. (a.b.&c. must be documented and included with your application to the cjs major)

EITHER YOU'RE SERIOUS ABOUT THIS OR NOT
IF NOT....DROP OUT OF SCHOOL AND BE HAPPY.


So if you REALLY want help make an appointment with your advisor!
Be prepared to make some changes in your life and you may have to make some hard choices.
Your advisor will not assist you in finding the easiest way to get your degree.
