We are very pleased that you are interested in coming to Illinois State University
as a Criminal Justice Major. You are to be commended for beginning your search
for a major and continuing your education at this stage. 1) to be
in the upper half of your high school class, and 2) have
an ACT of 18 or it's equivalent.You should complete your High Schools Curriculum for College bound students and if you can we encourage you to pick up a foreign language, especially Spanish. The Department of Criminal Justice at ISU does not require students to have a foreign language, we just recognize the need within the field of Criminal Justice for employees that have those skills and we want to provide you the best opportunity for securing sought after positions within the field.
