Welcome to my New Beetle Heaven. I own a red 1998 New Beetle.
I added a 6 CD changer and two Blaupunkt 10-inch subwoofers with a 200
watt amplifier.
Speed Bumps
I got my car in August of 1998 and I was backed into (more like across) in November.
(Don't worry I got it fixed good as new!) The car now has about 47,000 miles on it and has had no major problems. Since the warranty ran out I have only had to replace an O2 sensor (46,000 miles) and the battery (3/28/02-4 years).
